Now this has been a awesome story! I always loved this show so much when I was a kid. I was so glad to find this story, I think you did a very done job on this story. Though I'm sad that you won't do anymore Beast Wars stories, I can understand why.

God damn did I love this fic. It captured the reasons I love beast wars perfectly and Inferno's sacrifice as well got me (though he is my favorite so it might be bias). I also liked how you inserted some Furmanisms (potentially by accident though) in the last chapters.

All in all this is by far the best Beast Wars-nay best Transformers fic I've read.

The start was interesting, and the subsequent plot was excellent, to say the least; nice job.
From the beginning, you created a fascinating new take on the ‘Beast Wars’ mythos, clarifying how they assumed their beast forms in a contemporary setting and coped with the new world they found themselves in when blending in is far more difficult, particularly with Megatron’s efforts to infiltrate Earth on a corporate level while the Maximals operate more as ‘vigilantes environmentalists’, Megatron seeking to exploit what he can of Earth’s natural resources where the Maximals are more interested in protecting what was already there (Made even easier by Tigatron and Airazor’s natural attachment to the world after their ‘births’).
Plus, your new take on the concept of Sentinel made a particularly interesting touch, taking the traditional sci-fi idea of machines becoming smart enough to wonder why they need to take orders and taking it even further by exploring HOW Sentinel reached that point and the steps it took to establish itself as an independent entity, its genius-level intellect of only limited use as a threat due to its lack of imagination and innovation (Your new take on Inferno was also original for your ability to make him a Maximal while retaining the central elements of his character, but that’s more of a ‘nudge’ than a complete rewrite considering how he interacted with his pod and the fact that he was still a pyromaniac).
While I’m a bit unclear on why those specific Maximals were ‘chosen’ to receive upgrades by the Vok- the Transmetal Predacons made sense, but I can’t quite see why the Vok chose Optimus, Cheetor and Rattrap in particular-, it certainly worked as a means of incorporating Transmetal technology in a world where a quantum surge is impractical, and while Tigerhawk’s introduction was a bit abrupt, it created some interesting questions about how he was created or what purpose his creators had in making him, even before you introduction his connection to Tigatron (Character-wise, Tarantulas also works out better as a rogue operative this time around; it was always hard to be sure when he was or wasn’t working with Megatron in the series).
The idea of half the team making it back to a fully populated Cybertron was also a dramatic twist, particularly how you explore the chain of events that led to the returned Maximals becoming key figures in local events, and the addition of Dinobot and the other Predacons on Earth raised some intriguing questions about his reasons for arriving on Earth at such a comparatively late date; the clone army was a bit of a surprise, but an interesting adaptation of Megatron’s ‘interest’ in cloning him in the series (At least three attempts if you just count the original TM2 raptors as a single attempt; that’s more than just taking advantage of a convenient template, when you get down to it), and your new origin for him was actually rather intriguing, initially appearing a simple skilled soldier before you explored the reasons why Dinobot’s honour would tie him to Megatron and the potential for future conflict as he begins to explore what he is.
Optimus’s temporary virus was a bit of a shock, but it created an excellent chain of events that led to his later ‘upgrade’ and Sentinel’s final defeat, as well as an original way to reference Botanica and Nightscream without actually bringing them to Earth- Botanica was a question-mark but Nightscream was clearly too young to be offworld for any plausible reason that would allow him to remain the same essential character he was in the series-, and subsequent events with activity on Cybertron were highly dramatic (Although I do think you should have explored Earth’s reaction to the invasion in more depth).
That said, LOVED ‘Road to Avalon’ as a chapter- some of my favourite characters interacting with my favourite myths; what’s not to like?-, and while I was ambiguous about Optimus’s captivity- a good concept, but Wesley just didn’t seem fanatical enough for the job; it would have made more sense for him to hold Optimus for that length of time if he was convinced that all Cybertronians were the villains, but he seemed to acknowledge that Optimus wasn’t there to conquer-, Rampage’s final demise actually made more sense than his death in the series as it was something that would have NEVER been attempted before then (His death in the series worked, but at the same time you would have thought that someone back on Cybertron would have tried something like that when they were trying to kill him).
And as for the big finale…
Excellent work; a surprising twist regarding Quickstrike’s brief appearance (Managing to make an impact in a manner that’s still recognisable from the series without making his usual ridiculous rants about his own strength that he never lived up to), culminating in a superb final battle as Megatron achieves all-new levels of power before other characters are pushed to their limits, with unexpected characters making the ultimate sacrifice as others rise to the occasion and show what they can do, clearly exploring how far they’ve come from what they were…
(Too bad you didn’t get around to writing the Maximals’ rematch with Morgana- names seemed a bit petty, but the concept sounded good-, although I’m so-so about the idea of the Botanicons; sounds interesting, but I’m not that bothered about their absence.)
All in all, aside from the abrupt apparent dismissal of that previously-referenced Predacon uprising on Cybertron- was that sorted, or wasn’t it?-, an excellent conclusion to a superb storyline; congratulations!

Things just got REAL

This was an extraordinarily well done story. I particularly like how Dinobot spark bonded with Depthcharge to save his life. However I do wish there had been more interaction between Rattrap and Dinobot, they are my two favorite characters in Beast Wars and I have always loved the interaction between them.

This was most definitely an interesting retcon of Beast Wars, however there were a couple things that I did not agree with. Thrust, Tankorr, and Jetstorm are Waspinator, Rhinox, and Silverbolt respectively and having them exist as seperate beings kind of got to me.

Oh. And every time it seemed like the story ended, something else happened. I like how you managed to tie everything in together. It was most interesting.

Great job :). Whit regard to the fact the fic takes some years to conclude, for me was interesting to see your way to write evolve. I want tell you that this is one of the most interesting Beast Wars's fanfiction I have read until now, and I think a lot your risky choise of a complete reboot of the story where eventualy you succeed. I want to be more detailed but I'm not exactly a genius in english ''. Just I hope at last you will understand what I was capable to write here _''.

I like your story more and more. And I can understand Cheetor. Alone in a world full of strangers his only wish is to find like-minded people and a purpose of his life.

Eyeryone of us seeks this, including me, and I hope he will find both.

The first two chapters of this story are really good, a great Beginning for great Series. Because Beast Wars and Beast Machines are my favourite Tranformers Series I like your Story and will it read to the end. Hopefully the niveau will be so high like at the beginning. If this review contains errors then I bid for a sorry. My written English isnt so good. But I can read nearly every English story without problems.
