Aw I loved the ending, "anytime asshole." thats so chopper. And that scene in one piece made me cry, and this fic almost did the same.

Oh and I love how you described Luffy "Luffy had always been The Captain. The wide-eyed boy with a crazy grin and crazier powers, an undaunted attitude, and who always knew just what to do in the right situations, no matter how absurd his decisions. “Decisive,” Zoro had said earlier, “that’s what a captain is.”" He does seem to know the right thing to do. And now that I think about it, has Luffy ever been wrong? Even with the ships, luffy's decision ended up being right. I know the Marry saved them once more and all that, but in the end luffy was right. Of course, its what zoro said, that it didn't matter who was right or wrong, it was the captains decision and it had to be respected. Anyway, great fic!

Wow. That was incredible. I absolutely love this piece. Your grasp of the characters is so perfect. The drama touched me with passion. You put a wonderful ammount of work into this. I think i'm actually going to add this to may favoites, because it's such a perfect scene. i haven't gotten to see or read the fight yet, but i've heard so much about it, and this actually had me wondering if it was actually by Oda-sensei, it was so perfectly believable. (i know it's yours, don't worry).

It really is beautiful, and i love your descriptions and vision of the aftermath of the fight.

It would be fascinating to read when the rest of the evening was like (your ideas, i mean). i would love that, if you were trying to think of something new to write.

The Luffy versus Usopp fight was one of the few things that have brought me to full on sobbing, and you've expressed the heart-wrenching melencoly of the aftermath very well here.

Loved the ending. It makes one smile sorta sadly because it is sad, but you know thing's will be okay.
