I literally LIVE for fics where TsuORo and TsuJir have this weird palpable tension

A great idea not to mention well writen. Yes, Tsunade was quite right except... cancer is self destructive. Once it kills what it has been feeding on that is the end of the line. So it, too, has boundaries for its growth. Unlike Orochimaru.

This is different than anything else I've read in the fandom; even if just for its novelty, I like it. People seem to have fun exploring both Orochimaru and Tsunade when they're either whole or fully broken, which to me, is totally boring. You, though, create a moment when they're both right on the cusp, right as they begin to spiral downward into darker places. I like how you capture their tenuous relationship and address the attraction that is only hinted at in canon.

Orochimaru, no matter what else he was, was once a teammate, and Tsunade was not always strong. To me, that's mostly what this little vignette was about and I really enjoyed reading it.

A Sannin fic is rare to come by, even more so for a well written one such as yours. The emotion in this was rather raw and intense. I like how Tsunade didn't say goodbye to Jiraiya and Orochimaru was just plain creepy and physco. Great job.
