I came to read this by chance and I must say it was so worth it. The way you portrait the horrors, the misery in the trenches on a long war, it is heartbreaking but at the same time amazing. The way Roy and Ed interacted was just as they are in FMA and at the same time with a couple of small details you made their relationship gain a whole new depth.
Thank you for sharing this amazing story, even if you made me cry.

I love your writing style! It's realistic and gritty, painting up a picture of the horrors of war that makes me almost hurt when I'm reading it. I love it.

This was a fantastic read, and I'm only sorry there isn't more of it. Would be interesting to see how the two of them cope when they finally come back to a normal environment, meeting people they knew before and how they react to the ways they must have changed. Drastically.

Absolutely amazing. I wish I could find the words to express how I feel about this story, but I can't. It's too intense. Ed's bought(s) of insanity, and the companionship with Mustang that kept him strong was incredibly tangible. When Ed realised he couldn't picture Al... It broke my heart. When he was alone, my feelings were absolutely destroyed. When he was together with the colonel though, the atmosphere of the story shifted with their psyches. I loved the way you wrote the two of them, it wasn't romance so much as a burning need for each other. Despite the sex, their relationship is truly something borne from understanding and need. It could go either way; romantic or a bond of brotherhood. I just... I feel like what I've said so far isn't enough to express my absolute fascination and amazement, and horror, with this story. So, I guess I can only say thank you. Thank you for writing this. Breathtaking, in every sense of the word. You are amazing. Thank you.

Well. Shit. Just because everything's gone wrong doesn't mean we can't take Ed's arm off and stick shrapnel in Mustang's leg and run Drachman tanks in just for the hell of it... Awesome job with the plot, and I loved the conclusion because of the ambiguity (and certainty) as to what's going to happen later, after the story.

This was a really harsh and beautiful story. Congratulations. It was sensitive and horrible at the same time. Because it is the real side of the war, and you transcribed it perfectly. The characters are really well followed in their behaviours and their feelings. I really loved this, so, again, bravo. Mouah !

That was awesome, I love it. I like all the drama with them being at war and all, I'd have no idea how to relate to that, but you made it believable. You're really good at writing.
