Very insensitive of Kate to ask John what it was like to blind, considering the private man he is. It was a good story. I wouldn't want to be forced to live somewhere either, but at least Ronon's plight forced their hand to flee. I liked the camaraderie of the Colonels, even though Mitchell couldn't empathize with being blind he did understand the terror of being permanently grounded. In another time he and John could potentially be great friends. And mostly I loved the team bonding throughout the story.

I had noidea I was going into a sensory deprevation story when I started but I'm so glad I did. Loved it to absolute bits.
Poor John not realising he was havinga meltdown. And McKay, losing his hand function would have been devastating. I'm surprised his optimism lasted so long.

I realize I'm years too late with this review, but I just ventured into the world of Stargates. Anyways, I just wanted to thank you for sticking with this fic and to say I found it quite unique in how it was told from a non-seeing POV. Many people's worst nightmare!
I loved the way you wrote the team and their actions and interactions.

Loved this story. I like the focus on the psychological side of their experiences and the interaction with SG-1. Nicely done.

I loved this story! It was amazing how strongly the characters' emotions came through the writing; John's dispair, hope, trust in his teammates. Every part was great but for some reason my favourite scenes were those where the team was in the house in the underground city; it was evident there how much they cared for each other. Loved the crossword puzzles and the ending too.

I truely loved this story though you have traumatised me now I cannot get the image of Ronon and Teal'c wielding lightsabers dressed as Dr. Frank-N-Furter LMAO.

This was an awesome has taken 3 nights to read but has kept me on the edge to see what happened. There was just the right amount of emotional support without being mushy - the angst felt for each other really showing through the team's actions. I liked the way that John was able to show his feelings at the end when all should have been perfect. It was a nice twist to bring in SG1 and the camerarderie between the teams - a shame that more stories don't have the mix. Thank you for sharing.
