I know this story is several years old, but I was pm'g with velveteen habit and she mentioned your name, so I had to track your stories down. I actually haven't watched CSI Vegas in several years, but really loved it when I did, and this one-shot was just too stinkin' good, and funny, and real. LOVED seeing Ecklie tossed on his pompous ass. Sweet story, thanks for writing and posting! PS -don't know if you're writing anymore, but I put you on author alert.

Teehee! I LOVE this! You have Ecklie down pat! Totally hilarious. Greg's scene was awesome, air guitaring and all. 'He, Conrad Ecklie, was just picked off because of /stolen male support equipment./' Andrew getting autographs, Warrick trotting around the bases, Ecklie's exasperation and desperation and jealousy, Nick's home run, Hodges as catcher, Ecklie's futile attempt at sabotaging Sara and Grissom's relationship-all of it was great and funny and entertaining as all get out. I think my favorite part was when Travis said, 'The night shift is so inconceivably hot, that the day shift would have to be really unattractive in order to equal things out,' thus ruining Ecklie's morale-booster. Also, the line 'Grissom looked like someone just insulted his pet fetal pig' is awesome, although there's a typo-you omitted the word 'like' from the sentence. Your grammar is great, your style, timing, and word choice are oh so effective, and that great fluffy moment at the end just about beat all.

I'm actually reading this as a standalone-I've never read Requital, sorry!-and the idea behind this is so great. I'm not sure if any of the jokes from Requital have gone straight over my head but this was so funny, and I especially loved it coming from Ecklie's point of view. You did a fantastic job conveying the family-like bond the team shares, really. And Greg's jock strap story was the best!

Wow! Not only did you reference my fav baseball team, the Reds, in their hayday at the end of your last fic (good job on that btw), but you also managed to mention my fav television writer, Aaron Sorkin.

Apart from that, this fic was very funny and enjoyable. Excellent job.

Wow.. I may not be a softball fan at all but I'm still immensely entertained nonetheless. Really humorous and smoothly written. I love how the story flows and especially how you ended it, by showing the unity of the team and how in-tune they are. Thumbs up!

Oh god, that started out hilarious, then was ending all 'Aww' because of the hat Nick got from Grissom, especially as I just read your other story...and then at the end I felt like throwing something at Ecklie, LOL.
