I like it, although the beginning is exposition-heavy; consider breaking it up a little. Line breaks can do wonders. Otherwise great!

This is really amazing. I love the distinct character voices in this fic. Ireally enjoyed reading this.

I had a dream of Harry Potter the night after I saw the new movie. It sounds odd but you'll love it:

I was in Hogwarts, walking around in uniform. Umbridge is there, just smiling, holding a clipboard, and flanked by Filch.

"Its time." I muttered into my wand. Fred and George appear out of nowhere with a box.

"We're sorry, Senior Undersecretary Umbridge."

"We know how much you like chocolates..."

"So we bought you some. Imported!" the twins said, finishing one anothers sentences.

"Well it's nice to know that two of Hogwarts most punishment-needing students have given up." Umbridges smile widened. Fred and George left while Umbridge and Filch helped themselves to the chocolate.

They soon started to inflate and drift away. I watched as they ascended. "Thats what you get you big PINK COW!" I yelled.

"You will be punished! Aaahhhhhhhh!" Umbridge screamed as she got poked in her swollen belly by the Astronomy Tower.

I then woke up.

"That was odd..."

I really enjoyed reading this chapter. It really captures Umbridge's character.

Did I ever mention you write Snape better than anybody else? I think I have, because it was one hundred percent true :)

First, I must thank you for allowing unsigned reviews, cause I'd have to sign in on my brother's computer because mine won't let me sign in. (That wouldn't have stopped me though)

Anyway I think that was wonderfully in character. I especially loved Flitwick's POV. It's just that the whole Harry Potter series focuses so much on HARRY, you want to know more about the other characters and their backgrounds, and it's frustrating with so little to work with. This was extremely creative and well written, and my appreciation for Flitwick increased tenfold, I love how he's so caring and protective of Snape. He's very understanding and a good person as well.

I liked Snape's because he's a VERY difficult character to write for, you never have enough info on him or his personality. I think at first he's written a bit two dimensionally, now that I look back on the HP books and I'm older. At first he's just the guy that hates Harry, the Slytherin jerk with no heart. Now that you learn more of his history in the later books you can't help but feel bad for him and it hits you that he's a real person with feelings and he's just as much a victim of life's cruelties as anyone else. I think it's great the insight you provide about how he feels about his Slytherins, J.K. Rowling wrote them so that they were kind of two dimensional as well, being only the posturing proud jerks.

Oh, and Umbridge being a Hufflepuff made me laugh, I just can't picture it. But she IS a BAD Hufflepuff, if I was a Hufflepuff I'd be ashamed.

All in all, this was absolutely wonderful. :)

Wow, that ending was just really emotional. Umbridge is a total and complete bitch, she puts Hufflepuff House to shame (if she really is in that House). Flitwick is a kind funny old man. Poor Severus, he needs a break from his bad memories, the poor man. I love him! _ Fred and George rule. This was another great story.
