Dear God, some of these reviewers and their statements that "Athene" is misspelled and that stupid troll a little beneath me... I so want to bash their heads in...

But I've been toying with the idea of Ares/Apollo or vice versa for quite some time now! I doubted that I would find it, since Ares usually doesn't take on any male lovers, and as such didn't assume people might have a kink for rare pairs in Greek mythology as I apparently do.

It's too bad you didn't continue this, though. :( It seems you've been off of FFN for awhile, but it'd be nice to know where you had wanted to go with this.

Im sorry but i think it sux that you didnt use the same language style and techniques as Sophocles

Oh, I'm afraid there won't be any update, the story is quite old :( And it's a shame, because I've been dying to read some Apollo/Ares slash for some time. Now I've finally found one, and it's a GOOD one - it would be great to find out what happened next between those two! Oh please, pretty please, you can't just leave this story like that! *sniff*

This is really well-writen but one tiny mistake you made is that it should be 'Athena' not 'Athene'. That's about it though. Hope you update soon! )

I like this, sounds like the start of an interesting story. Quite unique twist to Ares, who don't usually do "the gay thing"! Then gods playing around with mortals (and in the end with each other, sometimes with dire consequenses) is always interesting to read about. Keep writing!

I am enjoying this very much! Oedipus is one of my favorite Greek Tragedies and I am looking forward to reading more of this. I really like how you have twisted traditional views of Apollo and Ares as well. This story is very good keep it up!
