Really well written story but there's no way it gets a happy ending. First because it's been 8 years so I think it's a safe bet you're never going to put the last two chapters up. Second, their relationship was abusive, I'm pretty sure they'll eveventually realize that if they haven't already. Derek with the intentional bruising and physically hurting Casey was very disturbing. The forcible confinement made every sweet moment they shared fade away, turned them into lies. Very dark and twisted Dasey and while I don't mind some of that in my stories I think for me I always like to see that they love each other and I stopped feeling that in this story. Really good lead up to Casey falling in love with Derek at the same time as Derek is trying to convince himself he's over her and trying to move on. I personally don't think it's true but it's good to see him trying to move past the mistakes(so many troubling mistakes) he made throughout the story. He was in no way alone in making mistakes as Casey was right there making many of her own too. She's admitted to herself and Derek she loves him and that to happen for them to move on. Hopefully Casey follows Derek's lead and tries like him to leave the past behind. They were never meant to be and maybe just maybe they both get that now. You broke my Dasey heart with the abusive part, Derek intentionally physically hurting Casey was really tough to read and the tying her up left a scar on my shipper heart. Like I said, really well written but this was never a Dasey love story and I can't tell you how incredibly sad I am about that.

My favorite chapter so far! And Casey is very dense OMG.

Reading the bathroom scene in the last chapter and Casey's memory of it in this one, all I can hear in my head is All American Rejects "When you see my face, hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell..."

I am so irate that this story hasn't been updated in years. Ending there is going to kill me. Pretty pretty please just put up a quick chapter so i can have a sense of closure?

I love this and I don't mean to nit pick but since this was written the consent law was raised to the age of 16 here in canada.

I've read this story about thrice now, and I still love it. I love everything about it, how it's a TOTALLY different from the other, how nothing was easy between them. Each time I finished this chapter I wonder what was next and I see that it's been 4 years since you've updated this. I really hope that if you do have a writers block that you get free from it and post the last two chapters. I'm dying to know how it ends :-D
