So, did Erik ever find out about Tora's knowledge of "Erik the Second"?

Nice use of dream sequence - oddly enough, it reminds me of Jane Eyre when, at the end of the book, Jane and Rochester have this inexplicable telepathic connection before she returns to him. If you've never read it, I highly recommend it. This made me blush... but it's what I've been waiting for. I quite enjoy this story. :) Good job with it!

I hate finishing a good book. It feels so final turning on to the last page. But a oh well, I loved your story and will reread some time in the near future. A beintot

Wow! I have just read this over the last couple of days, I never really enjoyed Erik/OC stories, until reading this, it was brilliant. I love the characterisations of Erik and Tora, they make a great couple and Tora is a much better match for Erik than Christine in this, and yet it fits so well with Leroux

I must say,I burst out laughing when I first read "Erik the Second" The humour and dialogue between the characters was very well written. I got quite teary at the last chapter though! :)

I read this whole story in one day and I'm so impressed! I couldn't stop reading! I love the originality of your characters and their character development.

Wow. Just...wow. I have never read such a fantastic E/OC with a Leroux Erik. Honestly, I didn't think it was possible to pair up Leroux!Erik with anyone, especially not an OC, but you gave Tora such a realistic depth and vibrancy that it made perfect sense. The pacing was wonderful, the characterizations spot on...I read the whole thing in a day and a half and loved every minute of it. Thank you!

Watching your writing improve throughout the chapters as you aged was fantastic. You became very skilled. I am happily adding your story to my favorites.

This was superb! I've read other Erik and OW fics and frankly, very few are good...too many have Erik wasting most of his time mourning for Christine and I lose interest after that. The Opera Wench had a good premise...Erik basically falls in love with Tora first, loses her, then obsesses over Christine, but once Tora comes back into his life, is able to get over Christine in a realistic way. The writing was clever...chock full of humor and romance, but never, ever saccharine. Erik was by turns sinister and tender...very much as he was written by Leroux, which has always been my favorite interpretation of Erik and you nailed him. Tora was a well rounded character... I was rooting for her from the very first chapter. The only thing I didn't care for, was Erik's death in the last chapter...I always prefer the characters in the story to have their lives open-ended. It could have ended after the birth of their son and I would have been happy. My only regret...there's no more to this story...a series of vignettes on their marriage over the years would have been wonderful. I truly loved this. Thank you for taking the time to write it.

Wow. This story is one of the best I have ever read. Your writing stle is so mature, like a professional novelist. You did so well keeping everyone in character while adding depth, it really brought them alive for me. You are a superb writer. Please continue your excellent work.
