Luiz4200 chapter 12 . 6/20 Step, thunk. Moody's walk is unmistakeable. |
time-twilight chapter 12 . 7/23/2019 Great chapter. |
SortingHat chapter 9 . 9/15/2017 I'm sorry but fanfics with a lot of doublespeak in it don't sit well with me. Just like you liberals with all your stupid laws that wind up just confusing people and only benefiting the global elites. This is why people are sick of CNN and fake news. Want to see real dictatorship? Got o Venezuela and see how much people suffer there. It's so bad that last year or earlier this year animals from the zoo were being eaten because of shortages of food created artificially. |
Samuel chapter 8 . 9/15/2017 For someone who is supposingly (open) to criticism you sure brush everything off as "No big deal" kind of person and act like a robot. |
SortingHat chapter 5 . 9/15/2017 I'ts more of a reflection of your own dirty mind then Sirius. You are a CNN Brainwashed zombie whom the only good Liberal is a dead onhe! |
Guest chapter 3 . 11/20/2016 Is it just me or did the first chapter stabbed me right in the heart |
youwannabekate chapter 12 . 3/18/2013 Ohhh this is sooooo good so far! I wonder what Mad-Eye's up to. And I like how Sirius doesn't get custody and then *POOF* perfect father material. He's been in friggin Azkaban for what eight years? Not as bad as PoA, but still. Most go mad after a few weeks. So he's not the best father. And Harry doesn't completely trust him. I like it. And, by the way, YOU GO SIRI! YOU TELL THAT BITCH WASSUP! |
Proper the Incredible chapter 12 . 2/9/2012 awesome plz update this seems great |
SuperNekofan chapter 12 . 7/19/2011 This seems interesting. I can't wait until Remus and Padfoot find out more about how the Dursleys treated Harry. Please update soon! |
Russingon5eva chapter 12 . 2/27/2011 Please update soon. Please? |
neonorne chapter 11 . 12/31/2010 Ow. Got things mixed up and had the review for chapter 10 posted as the review for ch. 11. Sigh. Sorry about that. So - no matter what it says on the label, this is for ch. 11: I liked them together in diagon alley, and the way Sirius handled Rita was cool. But - you've abandoned it here? With cliff hanger and all? Pity. In spite of all my rants over your portrait of the characters, I would really have liked to read more. Because. To sum it up: you do write very well. You are able to let the characters come alive both in the dialogues and the scenes you write. And when I can forget my own take on Sirius and the Sirius/Lupin dynamics I would have liked to see, I have no problems admitting that you have written two perfectly believable and well rounded adults, with an interesting relationship between them. Harry, too, comes across as a believable nine-year-old - that is often difficult to do. So I hope you can forgive my litte defensive rants (Sirius being my all time favorite and all ;-) ). I really did like this. |
neonorne chapter 12 . 12/31/2010 I liked to read Sirius getting back at Moony a little. Because for a moment there, you allowed him to be a little too much like the indulgent father sending his kids off to bond and eat icecream. And again be the one explaining his godfather to Harry. At him Sirius, don't take it lying down! :snigger: But didn't like Lupin all motherly at their return. Sigh. As if Sirius wouldn't know about pick-up spells and potions, or the effect of too much ice cream. He'll have had enough of both in his day. I don't think someone going green over too much ice cream would have fazed him at all. He would have cured it, but thought it funny - and maybe even teased Harry about it a bit. And told Lupin to stop being so worried... |
neonorne chapter 10 . 12/31/2010 Would have preferred it to be Sirius who told Harry this. Oh well, that's just me. Thought the explanation was believable, but it was a bit - boring. In my opinion, long explanations like these are not so suited for 'real time' dialogue. They are better summarised. Like starting out with the dialogue, then switch to telling the story Lupin tells in third person. Much easier to make it vivid and interesting that way... |
neonorne chapter 8 . 12/31/2010 OK the twist here wasn't too bad. I actually kind of liked this ending: "Dumbledore just helped me keep custody of Harry," Sirius said, still glaring at the door. Remus nodded. Sirius's eyes narrowed further. "Manipulative bastard." Remus nodded." Who would have thought, with my barking rant after the former chapter? |
neonorne chapter 7 . 12/31/2010 Clicked submit too soon on the review to the last chapter - did mean to say I liked it, not just comment on the swearing thing... :Sigh: - and now I must confess how I hate this cliche of Sirius beeing treated like he is fourteen - or twelve - in front of his godson. When what he is is a heavily traumatised man in his thirties. Molly of course does it in OotP - but that's Molly for you. Lupin doing it - not cool. You had me lose all sympathy for your Lupin right there. Telling Sirius to "grow up?" in front of Harry? For wanting to take Harry to Diagon Alley, and protesting DD's taking him away? WTF? Then having Sirius storm out and slam the door like he IS that fourteen-year-old Lupin treats him as - leaving Harry to the DD devices he fears? Nope, not believable at ALL within the frame of this story, considering what's at stake for him here. Leaving it for the 'adults' to decide what's to be done with Harry? WTF again. And then this sickening: you must forgive him he's been in prison to his godson afterwards. 'Explaining' him to Harry, making sure Harry will start out with pity instead of respect towards his godfather - and setting Lupin up as the important one for Harry... Gah. As far as I'm concerned, DD is the one who deserves all the flak, for leaving Harry to neglect and abuse all those years. Go Sirius. Sigh again. Sorry for the rant - but you write so well you really drive this home, waking up the old frustration and have me gnawing at the wall paper. I really hoped this fic would go down a different route than this. Will read on though. You write too well to drop it now. |
