I just finished reading your story and I found it absolutely amazing. You had me crying, laughing and smiling. It's built up in a perfect pace, that deepends every important moment. I admire your ability to write so beautifully.

That was amazing. You really pulled at my heartstrings and I am so glad that you wrote a follow-up chapter. This was all so beautiful. I can't wait until you update your other O.C. stories. I don't think I've cried as much as I have whil reading you story! ALl the chapters have been amazing, toughing and heartbreaking - I've loved every chapter! The ending chapter is once again amazing and I love your desciption of the Atwood family walking down towards the door to Marissa's room - It's like they're dancing or celebrating they just won the Olypics and then before Marissa's door they take each other's hands before going in! It's so easy to imagine it. Also the moment where Seth tells Ryan that Marissa is wake - it totally made me cry! Ryan breaking down after they all left! And then you end with a short summery of their life and then end with the "I told we would grow old together..." I could go on untill I had commented on every little word! I'm sad it's over, but what a story! THank you so much for writting it and I really hope you'll write more!

Let me preface this with how I started reading your fic. I only just started posting on this board a couple of weeks ago, and a friend of mine who posts here and on the OC board (IloveRyMar) recommended that I read this story. So, Saturday night/early Sunday morning I printed it out and took it home to read. I read the entire thing that Sunday morning before I went to bed at 8:00 (other than the last chapter) and it went way to quickly. I was left literally a sobbing mess, and I'm not even an emotional person- LOL!

Obviously, it would take forever to give you a review for all seventeen chapters, but I would like to review this one so you realize just how much I enjoyed this story.

At least I was warned that this was emotional, but I was in no way prepared for HOW emotional it was.

I really, really enjoyed the philosophical introductions that you used, how you put everything into perspective with them for the story but they also could be applied to real life as well. They were beautiful and moving and always the perfect lead ins for what was to come.

Everyones' reactions to the news that Marissa woke up were spot on and amazing. Summer laughing hysterically, the doctor feeling as if he's been saved, the girls, especially the two older ones Nealy and Ella because they remembered their mother, completely exhilerated and thankful, Seth speechless (yes, finally, for once), and Ryan...well, what can you say? I think he finally got his life back, his heart was mended back together, and he could breathe because his everything had returned.

One of the things that I found so touching was how you described how Ryan lived during the three years Marissa was in a coma, how he took a single read rose to her every day (I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it), how he would always check on his children several times a night, how he would sometimes wake Seth to watch the girls just so that he could reassure himself that her heart was still beating, how he would reach over for her at night to find that she wasn't there- all of it was so tragically beautiful and heartbreaking, but he got her back.

Reading of her interaction with her daughters was so precious. I loved how she called Grace Button like it was just yesterday that she had seen her last. It was amazing how they cuddled in each others arms and never wanted to let go. It was so appropriate how she studied them and every minute change their faces and appearances had gone through, soaking up their essence and trying to see what she had missed while she was in the coma. And then there was her alone time with Ryan.

She held him, she comforted him, she showed him that she really was real and that she was really alive. It was a wonderful moment. He broke down in her arms sobbing out of relief, joy, fear alleviated, and love, and finally didn't care that he showed that much emotion. And then as she looked in his eyes, she saw their future...together with their children, as, she said, they grew old together. It was the perfect ending to the perfect story.

Thank you for writing this, and I hope to see another story by you some day. I looked up your account and noticed that you have another story, so I'm going to start that soon. Again, GREAT JOB! I LOVED IT!

Great last chapter, I loved how happy all they were, and how you inserted the epilogue at the end.

I just sat here and read the entire story. I cried. A lot. This story is amazing, I love all of it. It is so touching and yet so heartbreaking. I cant wait until there is another chapter, and to see if Marissa is okay now that she is awake. Please update soon, I'm on edge here!
