This is one of the best stories I have read out of all the outsider fanfics. I really the way that you showed how responsible Darry is to Ponyboy and how much Ponyboy meant to him. Overall, this story describes Darry's personality really well.

i say if anyone ever gives you a bad review, they suck! so don't let them keep you from writing more.i would love to hear more of this story. you rock! PLEASE WRITE MORE TO THIS STORY its really cute so far and i really want to hear more.

you should have made darry spank ponyboy.

Omg, you should definately update. It could go in the same direction as "Gone" (as ya can see I'm quite obsessed with that story) or have something real bad happen to Pony (or a series of things) and have Darry, Soda and Pony come together and become closer and sort out their problems.

-have Darry say some really insensitive things

-in the heat of the moment have Darry beat Pony (or just more than a few punches/slaps but not quite a beating) and infront of the gang.

Or whatever ya know. But like all your stories, it is brilliantly amazing and ya should definately update.

This is an amazing story! Forget about those people who are critsizing it. I think it's amazing! I love the Pony/Darry brotherly realationship. I definetly think you should continue with this story, I can't wait to see what happens next! :)

I really like this story. It has an incredible plot. It was written years ago, so I doubt you'll update it but I sincerely hope you will. Don't worry about if other people didn't like it, there are people who do appreciate it and as long as you still like it, that's all that matters.

This story in my opinion is awesome! I understand where people are coming from though.

See when you are writing Darry, he almost seems a little TOO intense and overly mad. I have to agree with stereochick though. This is a very intense scene with Ponyboy having to go to the police station and all. And we ARE working with jaded characters and greasers so as Ponyboy said to Cherry the night before everything: greasers feel TOO strongly and to add to that what they went through, it just makes sense. I have to say the most OOCs were Sodapop and Johnny but with good reason. I believe that the only reason that Sodapop didnt butt in was because he was slightly scared and really didnt want to add to Darrys anger after Darry yelled at him in the parking lot. The reason was the same for Johnny but I thought that he would go in after Pony while Darry was calming down. I think that the LEAST OOC was Steve, of course!

You should DEFINETLY continue this story because the basic plot idea is AMAZING! It actually would also be amazing just the way it is because unless you have ideas, then it would be difficult to continue with that final line. In addition, even if this IS OOC or whatever, KEEP WRITING! I once read a story (I recommend it since it is AMAZING)called Ponyboy's Nightmare. I was in love with the story seeing no problems with it. Then I read a review stating that it was horrible and Pony was like 5 and stuff and going back on the story, a few things (not the HORRIBLE comment) were true but I didn't feel that it took away from the story because it was still amazing.

What I'm trying to say here is that to keep writing and updating and thinking up plot bunnies because some people could find it horrible but there are others who find it wonderful and love it. NO ONE has the right to bring you down and stop you from writing by discouraging you! So keep on writing and have the best time of your life (even during Pony torture which can actually be fun some times since you feel so bad!
