NeverGonnaStop chapter 7 . 8/5/2019 So, what I'd like to know is if Harry was only altered to have the added Metroid dna, or if he has Chozo dna as well. We saw pomfret manage to separate and distinguish between both, but but it was experimental treatment. I'm sure I'll find the answer as I read further but I'll be very disappointed if the answer is no. |
NeverGonnaStop chapter 2 . 8/4/2019 I was going to ask whether Samus/Samantha had taken to wearing Earth clothes during the library scene. I think it makes more sense to have mentioned it then instead of during the scene in the potions classroom. Other than that, let me just say I am astonished that you have been writing for so many years and still doing so. I'd feel pretty proud if I was still writing fanfiction in another twelve years. You are an inspiration. |
Jesseblackhawk chapter 4 . 7/8/2019 And just like that this story is now on my favorites |
wingedcatgirl chapter 25 . 12/10/2018 Good content! |
Ombraura chapter 23 . 11/25/2018 Ok i take that back since Samus finished what Harry began and vice versa ' |
Ombraura chapter 22 . 11/25/2018 GODDAMNIT ! To what extent are you disrespectful towards Samus ?! Harry can defeat single-handedly his X clone, mother****** Ridley and Kraid and survive miraculously (again) but Samus can't deal with Voldemort and/or SA-X and get killed like that ? Don't care what you think but even if your logic is that Voldemort is more like the Samus' MotherBrain than her Ridley I call bullshit :p ! She should have at the VERY LEAST rekt Voldemort, put up a good fight with SA-X and get rekt (but not killed... because nobody kill my girl TT). |
vladtepes198627 chapter 1 . 12/23/2017 Im sorry to nitpick but Samus would be considered a Squib instead of a Mugggle. Until or unless she displays magicall powers. |
Anasazi Darkmoon chapter 25 . 10/19/2017 Just finished rereading this over a period of several days, and it's always a fun thrill ride from beginning to end. I had completely forgotten about Samus' puberty story, and picturing Ron and Harry's expressions was highly amusing. Off to go reread the sequel now! |
Mr. 16384 chapter 25 . 9/30/2017 Extremely fun, interesting story. Some of the fights seemed more like you were sketching out how they'd play if you were developing a game, which was (generally) cool. The climactic showdown seemed a bit messy too, but overall, this was great. |
sgmusic chapter 25 . 9/10/2017 I went in to this story with at least a little hope. A Metroid x Potter crossover that was complete? Yes, please! By the time I was halfway through, I was getting disillusioned and once I reached the end I was really disappointed. The story started off really well and could have gone better in to full AU territory. Instead, we got a Metroid Fusion game rehash and a reset button/cop-out that shows what happened in the story has almost absolutely no bearing on canon. OotP happens pretty much as in canon, complete with Umbridge, detentions, and the D.A. being discussed but with Samus and the X slapped on top of it with almost no real changes to the overall story. It may as well as had not happened. Samus's new upgrades were nice touches, such as making the Grapple Beam relevant again as a whip, but taking all the effort to give Harry all of Samus's abilities and then not only make them not relevant but remove them at the end made it all seem an exercise in futility. As much as I would like to read the sequel, Day of Reckoning, I can't make myself do so without feeling like I'll be setting myself up for even more disappointment. Add in that it's been 5 years since FoD 2 was completed and there doesn't look to be any sign of the final part the trilogy, it looks like Fusion of Destinies 1 is going to be my only (disappointing) look at HPxMetroid crossovers. |
Arafell chapter 25 . 9/15/2015 Good story, but that ending was a cop out. "Good luck with Voldemort Harry! I'm going back to my time so I can watch the latest episode of Federation Chronicles!" Also, the way he lost his powers was rather cliched. It was as if his magic said "Oh, let me win you this fight. You won? Alright, now to preserve the status quot I have to take all your abilities away." Oh, and Voldemort is just as strong as he was before. The guy that they BOTH fought and didn't manage to defeat is still wandering around, and she just left him there to fight without her. I mean, hey, its not like she had a spaceship and a high tech suit of power armor to contribute to the war effort with. When would that ever come in handy? She deserves to go back to the future, look it up in a wizarding history book and realize that Voldemort just wrecked everything. |
mutecebu chapter 4 . 2/26/2015 OOOoh. Samus is immune to magic because metroids absorb energy. |
mutecebu chapter 2 . 2/26/2015 I just realized how useful the time-bending spell could be. Pull back a sample of influenza from the future (under controlled conditions), destroy that sample, seek-out the counter! |
EverfreeSparkle chapter 5 . 2/26/2015 Well, I've been reading and hoping it would get better, but so far it just seems to not be my type of book. Samus is too angsty. |
FrictionX42 chapter 25 . 2/4/2015 That was amazing. I love how you managed to evoke the feeling of playing Metroid while at the same time not lose sight of Harry Potter. That can not have been easy. An exeptional work. |
