rotterdam chapter 14 . 4/17/2010
Wow, this was amazing. I think it's one of my favourite favourite stories tbh. Your characterisation of Sirius was brilliant, as was the depiction of him with his father. The rape, although awful, was such a clever twist in the story and I loved the way you combined the original story with your explanation. I think it's a fantastic story. I loved it! Well done!
BurningLionFrozenLamb chapter 13 . 1/3/2010
I actually like the circular theme you establish with this chapter. Remus initiates Sirius' destruction as an individual, but he also facilitates the repair. I like that you insinuate the power Remus has over Sirius, as well as the power Sirius has over everything else in his ability recover. The message of continuing living and loving after suffering unspeakable betrayals and heinous offenses is a powerful one, and I like that you wrap it up in homoerotica and serve it with a side of magic. I like that part a lot.
BurningLionFrozenLamb chapter 12 . 1/3/2010
This was a magnificent climax to Sirius' fragmentation. I was really moved by the suffering taking place in this chapter. I am really so very impressed by your ability to entirely decompose such a strong character. If this had really happened in canon, I don't imagine that Sirius would have survived Azkaban, even with all his talk of innocence. Then again, I suppose all of these trials would be your testament to his character. To relive all of these events over and over again in his mind while being held in the depths of hell would break most men, but with this story you declare Sirius stronger than any of his own mistakes. I am so relieved that you can also recognize the inherent strength in the man who was not defeated by the strongest forces of sorrow and darkness in the HP universe.
BurningLionFrozenLamb chapter 11 . 1/3/2010
As much as I like Snape, I must admit that he makes an excellent villain. His degeneracy is portrayed with magnificent deftness, of course. I got a little freaked out at the beginning of their dialogue, but I must admit I relished the idea of Severus being disposed of without Sirius suffering any further. I worship your ability to turn me against my own favorite characters. Very impressive.
BurningLionFrozenLamb chapter 10 . 1/3/2010
I was actually nauseous after the last chapter. I felt everything happening in this chapter. What blows my mind is that this isn't even the pinnacle of Sirius' disintegration. You convey this sense of guilt and suffering he's experiencing magnificently. Once again, I am left breathless by your storytelling. You are a master of conveying agony. Beautifully done.
BurningLionFrozenLamb chapter 9 . 1/3/2010
I couldn't even read all of this. Allow me to just briefly admit how impressed I am by the revulsion you've managed to evoke in me.
