The whole bursting into tears when she sees Tony - that happened to a friend of mine. Mutual friends had a toddler who would literally look round the room to find him, and then once she'd locked in to his face, would start to wail. It was most amusing for everyone else, rather dispiriting for him!

Tony buying her the soft toy was cute, though not as cute as Gibbs swooping in and stealing the cheerio ;D

Snorted at how Kate got Gibbs back. Intrigued by Balboa's little tête a tête with the Doc, wondering if you're setting up an undercover sting... Reading on!

You know you're involved with a story when you read the end of Chapter 5 and literally find yourself yelling 'OH SNAP!' to an empty room. That plot twist was fantastic!
Timelines did confuse me a bit whilst reading, but everything was cleared up by the end of it. The supporting characters were all really well done - from Carrie, to Ray, to the way you wrote Morrow, it was all so great. And of course, the team were expertly written too! I loved this Kibbs UST and tenderness (seriously, I squealed. I think anyone walking past my room after this fic must think I'm crazy, with the yelling and fangirling xD) and the way you perpetuated that whilst still maintaining a team-fic feel was fantastic.
Overall, this fic is brilliant. Thank you so much for writing it :)

the story was a bit confusing, but it needed to be for your expose to work the way it did. excellent job in maintaining the mystery and not revealing even a little bit. i never suspected, and i usually figure out the twists fairly early.

Loved it. I had earlier thought that maybe Gibbs & Kate could pretend to be patients, but I still never put it together with the Morgans. OMG...that made me love the little dance scene even more. Great ending...very touching. :)

This is actually the second time I have read this fic, first time I liked it, but this time It was really good when I knew who the Morgans was and I noticed all the small clues you had placed in the story about their true identy. Very nice done.

I totally love the scene with the old lady that smacks Gibbs in the head.
