Wonderful poem. The rhythm breaks in several lines, and you can't help but stumble over those. But all in all, it's pretty smooth. But you've probably gotten a lot better, since the poem was written so many years ago. As for the language it's also very beautiful. Great metaphors, just the right amount of discription and events.
By the way I'm pretty sure I've red all your Chrono Crusade fanfics(too lazy to fav. all of them), so expect reviews, I guess? :/ All of them are simply amazing(albeit twisted, in a way). Your language is the strongest point of your writing. But the ideas are quite interesting, original too, of course.
