I love the part where Kari discovered what happen to Nazo and Nari, when she shouts at d book hoping Nazo would hear,, excited what will happen next.

I love it., I got excited to read the chapter 11.,plz update.

Oohhh, boy I love this chapter. I think I'll take it chronologically, because I've read it like thrice and everytime I start writing a review, I get stuck on where to start - there is quite a bit I enjoyed about this.

I don't know if it's because it's been so long since I read the last few chapters, butas far as I remember, Nari was a whole lot less impressive than Nazo, to me. But she's kind of beginning to come to life now - she's a much... gentler/quieter personality (though I think they're a generally unabrasive set of siblings) than her brother and I suppose it took a while for her to come to life, with so many extremely and overtly strong female characters running around all over the place. But I kind of liked her in this part, and she's coming together kind of vividly to me now.

Mai too kind of makes sense now (again, she may have made perfect sense before and I've just sort of forgotten..); I like the added element of jealousy. It's so... wonderfully petty and kind of reminiscent of the Hotohori's harem (which always made me giggle, really) from the novels and stuff. I'm nosy now about Shoshi's type (personally I think in the event you want to edge down that way, Nary makes a good match for her *ahem*). So this conversation was pretty cool, and I love the insights into Nyosei's cultures that follow.

Also: SQUIRREL! OMGOMGOMGOMG SQUIRREL SEISHI! This makes me so happy I want to cuddle your story for it! Awwwww _ THAT'S MY FAVOURITE! *DECIDES!*

The thing about Japanese and the Kounan dialect of Chinese makes so much sense! I mean I HAD sort of wondered how the hell the language stuff happens (I think you pointed it out to me actually) and the enchanted book thing is just.. duh! Of course! Brilliant reference there. xD I also think I really like Nazo. He's pretty awesome. He asks questions, he's cuddly and has that obvious male thing going for him. And he gives her his jacket _ awwwwww. Very sweet. I'm waving a Shiho/Nazo ship flag now, just so you know! (But the squirrel is just a whole other plain of awesomeness).

And CHICHIRI! YAAAAAAAAAAAAY! YAYYAYYAY! You know you need to update like... ASAP now right? I'm dying to know what happens next! *brings out special transcontinental prodding device and prods* (*will bring out puppy eyes next!*)

Minor typo: "You heard me right. Don't pretend you're so nave." - should be "naive"?

And favourite line, for awesome questions (like the really obvious ones people in FY should have asked) and general hilarity:

They fell again into a more or less comfortable silence until Nazo thought of something else. "So basically your people are asking for any random person to become their Summoner? What if it's a psycho?"

"..."

"What if they wished for domination in both worlds?" Nazo continued. "How can you trust someone from another world? You wouldn't even know their motives. Heck, you don't even know mine!"

Shiho raised her eyebrow again. "If you want, I could force it out of you."

"..I'll pass, thank you."

And now... UPDATE! :D

OMG YAY! :D I was afraid you'd given up but you DIDN'T and YAY!

And despite the gap, I don't think you've lost touch with the story at all - which is something I'm constantly afraid of *nods*. If anything, you're kind of right in the swing of it, and I hope you do update soon, because ... I don't know who said this, a while back, but this story is sort of like a new favourite anime XD

This chapter was... fun and intriguing. We have a reader of the Shi Jin Ten Chi Sho, which is cool - though, poor Kari. Now that I think about it (after having gone back to check, because... it had sort of slipped my mind), why was Nazo being so much of a bum to her? *pets her* On the other hand, she took his book and scarf, so ; And lmao! XD That Vitamin D ... D, right? anyway, that song is so cheesy and so very very overplayed after every graduation. XD;

The whole scene with Shoshi, from her interactions with Mai and then her much anticipated meeting with Haien/Shiho and Nazo was great. I like how she transforms from concerned fellow-warrior to imperior and slightly pompous and annoying Princess in a matter of minutes. I like her... "if I don't like what you say, I'll just kill you, because I CAN" attitude. Or, I don't LIKE it, it's annoying, but it's awesomely delivered xD;

I particularly enjoyed this bit:

'"This person is evidently not anatomically female however. What is your point?" the woman interrupted.

Royalty or not, the girl wasn't very polite, Nazo decided.'

And also the interaction that follows ; Poor Nazo. Or, in any other universe, lucky Nazo being subjected to... apparently images that most men find interesting (which is of course sort of annoying for most women -.-). But I love how Shoshi's all blunt about it and Nazo's is like 'omgbadmentalplace!'. And of course he isn't keeping a cool head *pets him* He's just a ... nice guy - he doesn't curse out loud, he mutters his profanities and he wants to look out for his sister. ; Which of course then reminds me, what about Nari? *curious* I do want to know what will happen there. Also, Haien's brother is training at Mt. Taikyoku? Is that who I think it is? Or ... maybe this is a good time to ask how long after the events in the FY-series this is.

Oh, and to answer your question, there isn't a glaring shift in characters or anything, but I also read the rest of this a while back. So I shall at some point try to read all of it again and tell you. But I think you've effectively maintained balance and consistency *nods* The tone and writing has not changed and I doubt that, other than natural changes that characters go through while writing a story, you've been inconsistent or something.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next installment best of luck with the writing!

Teleportations for the win, man! xD And YAY for an update.

I'm beginning to sort of fall in love with Haien, she's really snappy. I don't know what it is about a woman warrior in ancient China (you know, the kind that doesn't want to make eyeball soup), but it's working really well. Shoshi intrigues me too.

I have a presentation suggestion, in terms of adding some kind of line or break or indication between the scenes with different parties.

I'm intrigued by the conflict about two summoners... but then Urumiya was a seishi in two people. But I'd love to see how this gets resolved. In short, good chapter! Keep writing :)

This is really intriguing.. The Cowherd and Weaver Girl reference made me happy, because references to mythological stuff is always awesome. I really want to know where you go with this, so please do update!

Just wanted to let you know that I am following this story. It's very original, excellently plotted, well written and I absolutely love the characters. In fact, reading this is almost like watching a favorite new anime in my head...:grin:
