You've woven a great story here with a real canon-like feel to it; it reads just like an episode of the show, with the dialogue and the action scenes being absolutely spot-on. This fic captures not only action, drama and romantic elements, but genuine humour (Jeremie punting the Kankrelat was brilliant) and genuine horror, too. So much could go wrong with Lyoko - take away the safety net of life points and virtualisation, and you have a real nightmare on your hands.

I loved the formatting for the first chapter and the epilogue, and your writing really brought Lyoko to life. I think it can be difficult to describe since the landscapes appear so empty sometimes, but everything about how you described the battlegrounds, and about Aelita's connection to the virtual world, was extremely well done. I also enjoyed your explanations of the different virtualisation programmes and sequences, it read as really convincing technobabble that fleshes out the sci-fi aspect of the show and makes the schematics of the supercomputer that much more believable.

This fic is a years old now, so I don't know if you'll see this review, but I always try to leave ones when I enjoy a piece of writing so much. I was looking for a Lyoko fix and this hit the spot exactly.

This is one of my absolute favorite "Code Lyoko" fanfics on the site. There aren't enough stories of this caliber in the fandom. You've done a fantastic job creating an original plot, coupled with excellent writing and characterization.

Wow. I have to tell you, I spent about half an hour searching all over for this fic. It's been more than a year and a half since I've read it, but it still sticks clear in my mind. You did that well. This fic was a work of art- it was perfectly characterized, it was compelling, it was beautifully written. I finally just had to dig it up again :D

Just telling you that, though it's been forever, I still love this fic, and am waiting eagerly for the sequel.

i have nothing to say it was awsome extremly awsome it was sorta starwarsy but i love star wars i just cant beileve it im just amazed i cant evan tipe it took me 15 min. just to write this awsome!

I am very impressed. This was an extremely well-written story, and kudos to you for writing it. Even more than just your writing, you did a good job of explaining some of what the show didn't, and that's quite a feat to come up with a system that seems plausible, and true to the initial subject matter. Also, the formatting with XANA's computer activity is quite a nice touch, as was the numbering of the approaches he had used. Just...XANA, though he regressed, apparently, is far more powerful than has been seen at anytime, and almost seems to be a sadistic child, rather than a rouge AI. Funny...I never really thought of XANA as a character subject to OOCness. But all in all, this is an extremely enjoyable story. Good job!

The end alrady? Oh well, all good things muct come to an end. You did an awesome job with this chapter. I loved the angst here. Maybe you should have a sequel? Just a thought. I'll be on the look out for future stories by you.

Jeremy is guilty for almost sacrificing Aelita to kill Xana. Odd is still frustrated for thinking he is the weak link because of what Xana and Jeremy said. Yumi nearly killed Aelita and Odd when she was infected by the virus. Ulrich was sevearly wounded by Xana.

Aelita is upset that Jeremy is not talking to her and Xana still is a virtual humanoide that is satisfied with the damage. Will they recover before Xana makes his next move? Only time will tell.

Excellent story. I give it my stamp of approval. i wish it had a clearer ending though.
