Wow, this is such a beautiful and moving story. Even though I knew how it ended, it still made me terribly sad. I love the story you created. I doubt I could've written a better one. Kratos was my favorite character in the game (I cried at the end of that, too) and I always wondered what happened to him before the ToS. I ached for him. The way that you told this story seems so real that's its hard to believe it wasn't part of the original storyline. Great job!

I want to caution a little on grammar and sentence structure, though. Be careful to mix-n-match sentence length and try not to start too many consecutive sentences with "he" or "she". I will say, as the story progressed, this became less of a problem, as often happens with the progression of a story. I look forward to reading more about Kratos and Anna.

Fianlly! Someone beside myself who doesn't believe Anna's original last name was Irving. I am frateful.

Best line in the chapter. So simple and elegant at the same time and a GREAT description of Kratos. In fact, that entire paragraph of description about Kratos was really really great! I loved it. Thank you so much for the bonus chappie. X3
