Interestingly done.

Kiki Cabou chapter 8 . 1/28/2007
I really liked all of these tart, moody one-shots. In general the dialogue was great, and I applaud you for bringing out a painful sensitivity in Severus's character, as well as Minerva's soul and Albus's skillful, positive strategizing. That woebegone regret is definitely there inside Snape, and some people miss it, but you certainly didn't. Great job. :)

One last question (I promise!): Have you published this with main character Snape? I don't recall seeing it before and I was quite impatient before HBP and was here almost every day. But well - I don't think I have really managed to read all... But still - if you haven't, you should, should you maybe really include some new chapter (what would be PERFECT! The house next to the Black's residence could have belonged to Snape's grandfather or uncle from the Prince family - they were pure blooded for sure).

And as I have forgotten in the previous reviews: Thank you for sharing. (-:

And if you haven't lost faith in my favorite character. (-:
Iva1201 chapter 6 . 7/26/2006
Once again - this is my favorite chapter. (-:

And I have a question - don't you want to include some of the HBP to this? Because I don't think it impossible and it would be great to comlete it with two or three more chapters on it - I am especially interested in Minerva's view of the Astronomy tower. Cause - they are good colleagues with Snape also in canon, betting and anything but still - and she is the one who almost faints at the end of the book. Nobody else except of Hagrid has probably trusted him more in the group - and Hagrid did probably mainly because of Dumbledore. But I feel that McGonagall was able to built her own relationship to him and that was shattered now... As your story has (almost) my vision of their friendship, I would LOVE you to include this part. And maybe the prophecy thing...

If you are willing, prepared (-: and have time and inspiration, sure. (-:

Dear author, let me at first tell you how good you are - this was all out before the HBP, if I am not mistaken, however, except of the reference about the house of Snape's father situated next to the house of Blacks everything was compilant. WOW, WOW, WOW.

I really loved the interactions Snape - McGonagall, especially the one after his return to Voldemort.

Sad was the whole thing with Lucius - he seemed to care quite a lot.

Dumbledore - well, not the saint some people like to write but why not?

And Snape - as I invision him. Bitter because of all what has happened in his life, brave but still not a hazarding person as the reckless Gryffindors, friendly if he is around someone whom he trusts... Also his turn to Voldemort's side was perfect here.

I don't think Dumbledore has used him to any similar mision as here but well that is your idea and it suits the story good...
Catmint chapter 8 . 6/10/2006
WOW! This is an outstanding character study of Severus. It's in-depth, powerful, dark...It has everything!
Possum132 chapter 1 . 4/9/2006
Very nasty Marauders, pushing Snape right into Voldemort's arms.
deadite13 chapter 8 . 2/11/2006
Well pish, all your Snape stories are fantastic! Snape is by far my favorite character-hell, he's the only reason I mess with Harry Potter at all-and you did an excellent job of keeping him in character.

Figure, it's always nice when people who write fanfiction have actually read the stories. I mean, there's plenty of crappy ones out there who have poor Snape doing all kinds of atrocious out of character bits-either that, or they've got his background entirely wrong.

I especially like "Do Or Die" on account that I've always thought McGonagall and Snape's relationship as being rather sweet. Sort of like she can still remember back to when he was a student, and such. Figure, she's one of the few people who can call him on his snarkiness-and she's one of the few people who he allows to do so.

This is a rather new addiction, all the stories and such-but I've made it my goal to partake in as much Snape-ishness as possible. And figure, if you only run across one good story out of every ten you read-well, if it's as good as your stuff, it's worth it.

So, thanks!

You're brilliant, as always. I need to come to this site more often. Good to see you're still writing, and better to see it's about Snape. *teary sniffle-sigh* I love Snape. This story almost makes me want for winter...but only almost. ;) Talk soon. I'll dig up some more stupid American questions. ;)
Oya chapter 8 . 7/27/2005
Well, these short-stories have definitely made me very, sad. Lucius seemed like a brother, much better than the fake concern Dumbledore has for Sev.

Great work!
Oya chapter 3 . 7/27/2005
Ooh, in my mind, the words 'f**k you Dumbledore' came up frequently. There he is, acting like he's some saviour to Sev when he did NOTHING during Sev's days at school. Bravo, Dumbledore.
Oya chapter 1 . 7/27/2005
My poor darling. Now, why would Dumbledore love such children? Sigh.

Awesome job! I loved it!
