very good : D but the last sentence confused me a bit... I didn't know who was talking

I liked this a lot. But I have to say my main thought is, who is the narrator? It clearly isn't Dante, and at first I thought it was Envy but it isn't.

The last two lines were fantastic, I could clearly see Envy breaking his glass and the red wine dripping down to the floor. Dante is very well described, especially the body-swapping. And Envy's reactions ring true but...

I know it's just a drabble but it seems to leave out rather a lot of his reasoning. I know he kills people at the drop of a hat but I always got the impression this long standing grudge against Hohenheim was something...more. And I agree about the thermometer thing-it's practically impossible to get mercury poisoning like that anyway. Far more likely to have inhaled it then ingested it...I spent a long time looking up mercury poisoning for my fic. I also got the impression homunculus remembered quite a bit from the people they were supposed to be.

This reads rather like a prologue, and I like it.

Beautiful. Absoloutely beautiful. I assume that it's Greed narrarating? I could be wrong, but that's my guess. I love this.

Short, sweet [is that a Harry Potter ad I see?] and beautifully written. I'm going to assume it's purposely written without one knowing who's narrating, though.

I'd pick a line to quote, but I like too many of them to choose, actually. I especially like how this story portrays Dante (because I hate her guts) and the prose, which invokes, in the writer part of me, vague feelings of jealousy.

It's very well written (as your fics always are). I didn't understand who is the narrator (Greed, or another old homunculus?), but I like the way he talks about Dante's change of bodies : so naturally, and it makes it even more horrific.

*sighs* Why do people always think Envy died because a thermometer? Mercury thermometers did not even exist, at these times, and mercury is one of the most important components of alchemy... And this thermometer story became fanon despite all evidence... Sorry, it's not about you. I just read too much of those.

But it was good, anyway!
