Considering how Shin-ra forced to North Corel and Wutai in the past to accepts their demands, and they weren't willing to accepts a not as answer, i thinks that Shin-ra got a tastes of their own medicine when the galactic empire comes and demands them to submit to the power of the empire, as the empire like them weren't willing to even negotiates with others, they simply wants to imposes their power and if the other party refuses to complies, Shin-ra and the galactic empire simply would submits them by the force.

But perhaps Shin-ra would be more succesful with a cordial negotiation if the invaders were the confederacy of independent systems (CIS) or also known as the separatists than the galactic empire, because even if the separatists also wants to imposes their power in other worlds, even through the force, the separatists are more open to the negotiations and accords, making that if Shin-ra was visited by the separatists, they could even managed to makes some bargains and treaty that would benefits both organizations:

1. Shin-ra: they could get some advanced spaceships to accelerates their space program to several decades to the future, adding that the separatists could sponsor to Shin-ra some advanced weapons of energy directed, and a garrison of battle droids, to makes more powerful their army in Gaia.

2. Separatists: Shin-ra could teaches them about the Mako energy and even the technology to extracts it from the planet, making that the separatists takes the mako reactors to other planets to see if the mako energy can be harvested in other worlds. And if this works, the separatists even could uses the mako energy to powers their war machines, spaceships and even their battle droids, making this new energy source even better than the normal energy that they uses to their machines, adding that with the mako energy, the separatists could also gets materia, to adds this new weapon to their arsenal. And also, Shin-ra could teaches them about the SOLDIER, to that the separatists starts to uses this super soldier program to creates powerful soldiers to their army, to fights against the republic.

And even if the negotiations ends in good note, Shin-ra even could have one of their executives as representant in the senate of the separatists, making to Shin-ra other prominent member of the CIS, like the trade federation, intergalactic banking clan, and techno union.

I found curious the interactions between Vader and Aerith, considering that the lord Sith confused in the beginning Aerith with his deceased wife Padme, as if the Cetra has a physical resemblance with the Senator or even similar voices.

Perhaps this scene was to makes a reference that the Japanese actor that makes the voices of Aerith Gainsborough, Mayaa Sakamoto, also makes the voices to Padme Amidala in Star wars.

A huge, huge fan of your work. What an impressive and imaginative crossover, true to so many parts and plots of FF7 and Star Wars. You captured the brilliant complexity of the FF world so well. Thank you!

This was complete garbage. You completely ruined what was a great movie. This was literally just Star Wars Wanking, you ruined every part of the game. This story is trash.

*sigh* Had such high hopes for this... then you recreated the scene from Advent Children for Tifa VS Loz, and I realized you're just writing 'Advent Children with some Star Wars stuff thrown in'. Canon has no place when you throw such a large wrench as an invading galactic empire into the works. Sorry, but I don't really want to read the movie. I already know that story, and throwing in cameos from Star Wars doesn't change that.

Where is the sequel to this! I want more!

This was seriously good! I loved it!

I know that you wrote this story long ago, but I just can't help myself, I must tell you, how brilliant it is! First: Isis Avonej is the best OC in the FF7 world, not Mary Sue at all, she fitted perfectly with the original plot and Star Wars too. Which brings me to the second point: I never ever thought that FF7 and SW can work together, but it surely did, thanks to you, and what a plothole-less adventure that was! And third: how on Earth could you keep all the plotlines in your head, while writing, and you even finished it?! I can't hepl but thinking, what happened after all this... for exaple with Rufus, is he working to the Empire or not, or what about AVALANCHE and the Rebel Alliance, did they became allies, and did Isis turned into the Jenova of the Empire... arrgh, I can't take it anymore, this whole thing is just too good!

Okay this story was really strangely intriguing. I just read the whole thing when I really should have been studying for my test that I need to take. It's an intriguing concept all around.

I love this fic and how it used the characters. The OCs included also work along well with the plot. I like how some of the FF7 characters with little screentime in Advent Children had their roles expanded on. Also liked the appearances of SW expanded universe characters and some notable faces in the Empire. Including Wedge at the end was a good way to tie things up while leaving the story open ended. Personally I can imagine Cid possibly butting heads with Han once everyone meets the rest of the Rebels. The Vader/Sephiroth parralels are also interesting. And while the planet and FF7 doesn't get a name within the game, I've heard some wikis refer to the planet as Gaia.

You have done quite an excellent job for as much as I have read, I'm interested.

This was awesome. Very well done. Cloud with jedi training would be formidable. Not that he isn't already. I think you did a great job of blending the story and keeping the main components while adding in the Empire. Kudos to you!
