| Duhmenm chapter 2 . 7/8/2006 Oh my god this is...(be prepared for cliche words) amazing, spectacular, brilliant, beautiful. And I know you've heard it a billion times but it IS! You captured their love perfectly, I love the jealousy and how each of them thought they were loosing each other, how you slipped parts off the movie in effortlessly but made this your own perfectly. It was well-written, captured it all perfectly, and I love it! I wish it had been longer! I just love the control Hephaistion has over Alexander and you made it very apparent how he doesn't realize just how much control that is. Good fics like these are hard to come across, glad I found this one. |

| Fedia chapter 2 . 6/26/2005 I like very much your writing style. And the way you've conceived them in this particular story. I don't think Hephaestion was frail at all, but I guess that being Alexander the king he had to do a lot of concessions, even when it came to intimacy. Besides, I've read he seems to have been a thoughful, quiet man, not so much of a brawler, somewhat a kind, gentle spirit. While Alexander, well, he was a conqueror, sometimes a brute, but still with sensitivity enough to show mercy to his weakest enemies (woman and children) and to keep loving Hephaestion through his whole life, although not exclusively, since he had numerous other lovers. Anywyay, I think you have managed to portray them like that in this story, so congratulations. This one is very good. And I can't deny it. I adore jealous Alexander. |
