He smells like bergamot and cardamom in your story. I think of all the descriptions I've ever read of how he smells this is my absolute favourite! And I also like the idea of making him part Romani. Even though there are people out there who have done super thourough research on Snape, his background, the type of house Spinner's End is based on, what part of the country it would be situated in, etc, I still enjoy fics that stray from this image. Why not? Love this!

I've never considered that Severus could be Romani. It's an interesting concept.

I also found it intriguing that Severus was indirectly the cause of Remus' lycanthropy. It's not like the poor dear has enough guilt already.
