I love this story so much. You capture Sandy so well. In very few words, without ever overdoing it, you paint a very clear picture of his love for his family. Thank you for this beautiful fic.

This is a really wonderful story. I always seem drawn to the similarities between Kirsten and Ryan, but this shows me about the parallels RYan and Sandy can draw, so thank you. A beautifully written, kind of quiet story.

You were on major parental overload this week and we are all better for it. Sandy's voice rings true in his musings, with what little we know about his dad. I never saw the parallels to Ryan's dad as clearly before. And maybe they really were cut from the same cloth.

I love this Story! It's heartfelt, without devolving into some Piece of Hallmark Scmaltz. I particularly, loved that last Line:One man's trash is another man's treasure and one man's son has become another's.
