Okay, I was with you, to a point, but having Hermione suddenly be fine with Snape after he, not only threatened to rape her, but very nearly did, is just too much. Not to mention you give very little explanation as to WHY she's attracted to him. He's been very unkind, awful, actually. It'd be different if he had shown her a glimpse of his goodness, but I see very little goodness in your version of Severus. I get trying to keep him IC, but it seems like you must think him a monster.

My last point is that this feels like angst for angst sake. It's sadness on top of loneliness on top of sorrow, with a side of rape. You have to give the reader a bit of hope (and earlier than chapter 22, which is as far as I can stand reading this, sorry).

I would have loved to read more of this awesome story! It's a somewhat realistic Snape. He has a softness that he doesn't let anyone see because he hides it well beneith all those ugly emotions. I don't know if you're still active here on fanfiction, but if you are, I just wanted to share how much I enjoyed reading this!

Oh please, please, please continue this amazing story. I adore it, it's my absolute favourite of all time! You write so good, and I love the tension in the atmosphere, that you make it move forward oh so slowly. When there is action involved as well, it is my favourite kind of writing. :) I would hate to see it abandoned, although it probably is... :(

I absolutely love this story, it is written in a vice that is positively beautiful. It incorporates much visual imagery and makes effective use of simmiles. This is not asugarcoated bit of plotless undeveloped fluff, no it is raw emotion and complicated plotline. I do sincerely urge the author to continue writing this delightful piece of literary genius.

I've just a quick question: Is this story completed or are you planning on continuing it? I have not read it yet, but I would like to!
