Ah! First fanfic. I really enjoy seeing that you want to improve.

You shouldn't apologize if your chapters are long. Some people barely fit in the margin of ten thousand words per chapter. Chapters that are too short are a lot worse than chapters too long.

To start, a comment about the summary. A love triangle is a nice touch, but try and not make it OOC, as the downhearted Sonic bit seems odd to me.

The prologue seemed rather strange, as you've started it with describing sounds. There was talk about "the blue hedgehog". Though, that animal wasn't mentioned before, making me question "the" article. Speaking of that character, he isn't tall. As I read further, I got confused with this part: "didn’t really seem to understand “No”". If you used that word as a noun, you should have added an article to it. Some description short after Sonic's arrival seemed rather unfitting and I'd suggest you give that to Sonic in thought form.

Some sentences amazed me as you've put a capital after a comma: "He pointed behind him with him thumb, “There’s a sink".

I was really stunned by the detail of description and form. It's rare to see someone bother to go into such complexity. That's why I wondered if it really was neccessary, as you've made errors because of that. You jumped to present tenses while describing and there were some problems with verbs in dialogue. But I wasn't pleased with your use of the colon. I'm certain that semi-colons should be taken instead of colons in most occasions here.

Even with these slight misconceptions, It was a pleasure to read and I'm looking forward to updates.

Have a nice, abuse-free day.
