I can't believe I never noticed this fic before, it's incredibly good and that's not just for a first attempt. It's incredibly good, period. I think I'll reread it as soon as I finish this review. This is the kind of fic that you need to read and reread to catch all the details and it just gets better each time. Juicy, is what I'd call it. Yum. Such a treasure

What to say...well, it's incredibly (yes, I need a thesaurus) insightful, takes the movie and makes connections between subtle feelings that the actors portray (or not so subtle, in Gackt's case) and then you somehow put those insights into Kei's mouth so they seem so natural. How do you do that?

Your characterization makes me murderous with envy. _; It has all the bits of Kei that I love-the angst, of course, that just makes you want to cuddle him up in front of a fireplace and snuggle. The wry, ironic humour that brings him down to a human level and makes him such a fun narrator. The composure and sophistication that drenches him, even in his slouchyness. The way he jokingly patronizes Sho to tease the poor guy in his lapses. I could go on and on. (actually, I kinda already did..._;)

Anyway, please please PLEASE continue this soon! You are definitely going on my favorites lists while I impatiently wait for updates. Hopefully this crazy long review will nudge you along. _~ There are so many ways to do Kei's character and I stumble an author who writes him exactly how I imagine him with all the gorgeous subtleties that I love! yay, now I can put down my pen (er...laptop) and read instead of write. I don't have the burden of trying to write my Kei now that I can read him from you. _; if that makes any sense at all.

Keep going. I can't wait till the action between Sho and Kei start... *Action* xD
