This was a great use of my time! Great writing, sooo in character, edge of my seat concern for Sam right along with them all. And best of all O'Neill was perfect. Yoyo and hand holding and the constant wish for more for them. Flashbacks well woven in too. Great story all round. Clap! Clap! Clap!

He wanted to smack the damned machine.

Instead, he smacked the armrest of his chair.

"Damn it, Carter!" he shouted, pushing to his feet and stepping closer to her bed. "Wake up! That's an order!"

The moment I started reading, my attention was grabbed to the urgency of the situation at hand. Cute on how Jack returned after only 10 minutes of being gone from the room, nice of Daniel to bring a coffee too.

Love how you put in the perspective of each person as the events took place off world while on their shifts. One of the first things I wondered was where was Carter hurt, knowing it was a single hit drew it out to front or back attack. Nice for Janet to have her head rest on Daniel when she fell asleep.

I really liked how it was Jack giving her the order to wake up that she heard. To see a portion of her perspective after having been hit to slip off. I really like Teal'c's subtle way of alerting the others to something important, what party was Jack speaking of? Perfect comment from Jack "thought you might get bored."
