innocent-rebel chapter 1 . 10/8/2005
OPh, I loved this. Don't go beatin yourself up over it this is way cool. I'm getting into the martial arts (a lot of japenese style)so I know what you mean when you say that you can't get all that from a tape.
Jessiy Landroz chapter 1 . 7/4/2005

PossDownUnder chapter 1 . 4/8/2005
This was a great original story

Hey - I know we all come up with weird plot bunnies at times - but hey - if we can pull them off - they're brillent.

Loved Splinter calling them into practice at the end of the story - it was as though he knew what they were talking about.

It is true - the stuff on informertials are a waste fo money. I mean really, nothing beats getting off your butt and doing stuff to meet your goals.

No one gets anywhere by dialing a number
Sassyblondexoxo chapter 1 . 4/8/2005
Girl, this was hilarious!

One of the most original one shot ideas that I've ever come across! Pointless - heck no...I loved it! Loved it I say! It was even funnier for me, because my dad, sensible guy though he is, is constantly being sucked in by these. You should see all of the crap that we have in our garage.

Excellent! ~SASSY
Chibi Rose Angel chapter 1 . 4/8/2005
I loved it! It was defintely true! Every last word about the informercials as well the guys and their feelings! You know you could never write anything pointless! I would never ever consider my twin's works pointless and neither should you! Gave me a good laugh and a good read so that's all that mattered! Kudos and update soon!
CharlieCaller chapter 1 . 4/8/2005
Great piece; the characterizations were spot on, and I could really envisage it happening in the show. Nicely done.
misterfooch chapter 1 . 4/8/2005
You forgot the mandatory "and that's not all," quote from all infomercials...Anywayz I enjoyed, but then again I like seeing day to day activities in a story.

Good job.
Ramica chapter 1 . 4/7/2005
Mike so funny wanting to be a ninja master in five weeks, when in actuality his mind is on the katana and not the lessons.

Very different, and a bit unexpected.

Yes those infomercials are so boring and now a days so many people will have you believe you can have all you desire instead of working for it and truly accomplishing something!

A wonderful tale. Worthy of my C2
pacphys chapter 1 . 4/7/2005
'It's cheap' hasn't worked on me for a long time. There's the whole 'what the heck would I do with it?' and 'where on earth would I put this?' that must be considered. If it fails either one of those tests no purchase. If it passes then I have more.

*raises eyebrow* what kind of idiot...

What a great infomercial! hehe. I can hear the cheesy announcer voice. Wonderfully written, I think you have a potential career in advertising!

His bros are right, they are better than that. You can't learn that sort of thing from a tape. Doesn't work like that.

LOL! I like the end. Just as they are saying they are 'lucky to learn such a highly skilled art' they start groaning about having to go practice! Too classic. hehe. And that last line is cute.

Cheers,

jaxink chapter 1 . 4/7/2005
That wasn't pointless at all. If this was pointless, than my story about Mikey playing with his food must have been really off the charts. The everday activities that we partake in, when placed in the correct light, are indeed, quite comical.

Kudos to you for picking out one of those day-to-day tasks and making it funny. I certainly had a good laugh!

Reinbeauchaser chapter 1 . 4/7/2005
This was one of the most clever one shots that I've read in a long while. It's original, it piqued the humor quotient, it had a message, it had a moral, it had temptation despite all of the above.

And, I loved it.

So nicely done that it's going on my C2 file right away.

Just as soon as I get done saying -

Be blessed.
