This was just simply great. Maybe not profuse praise, but I'm being honest. This was interesting to read the changes and growth of a nearly adult Goku and an unsettled Sanzo finding a new way to understand his charge.

XD That's the way to knock 'im off balance, Goku. As much as I love Sanzo being sassy, I really dig Goku when he sasses back. Very nicely done, the portrayals here of my two favorite characters are spot on, and the tone is very nicely set. I'm putting this on my favorites.

I honestly don't know where to begin in response to this story. It's amazing! Although I haven't looked at a lot of fanfic authors for Saiyuki, I have already decided that you are the greatest! *applaud*

While reading some of your other Saiyuki stories, I noticed that the characters were never 'out of character'. Your descriptions are vivid but not distracting from the story.
