I just want to say that this absolutely fantastic. This is some lovely lovely work you have here, nothing too outlandish (considering the fandom, mind) and I have to say this is one of the top five oneshots I've read for JV's work. If I were to take one issue with this at all, it would be that when slush drinks melt, the syrup normally accumulates at the bottom of the cup. Unless you mean to describe it as a fist-sized (or so) chunk of ice floating in a cup of liquid, in which case, there is nothing I take issue with here.
I love how Edgar is here yet detached, and how even the third-person narration sounds like he's voicing over his own story.

This story is perfect. I justanvakdbdbdkahdi fangirl and I deeply encourage you to write more of this.

This is so amazing. I don't know why, but I really, *reall* like the ending there, the mention of artificial cherry under everything. And the mention of Nny's wardrobe amuses me as well. Lots of belts? Hm.

Pfft, I also love how Edgar gets hot and bothered by the thought of the death-dealing Johnny and his oh-so-scrawny form. Another is that this fic - it's spanned over three years? For real? I love how he doesn't forget what Nny looks like or anything. Recognizes him instantly. Anyway, excellent fic.

ANYWAY I totally love the way you write so very much. I love all the random little details (in particular the description of a double-humped mountain of nose WOULD NOT GET OUT OF MY HEAD FOR DAYS) and Edgar going for toilet paper and crackers. Everything was done so well and seamlessly kind of...disjointed. I hope that makes sense.

Also, the phrase Edgarbation still makes me giggle. I'm giggling right now just thinking about it. Hee hee.
