FanLass chapter 1 . 6/14 What a beauitful story! Thank you for writing it. |
jennaravenrose chapter 1 . 5/30/2019 That was beautiful and it actually made me cry. I was raised Catholic and like your charecter, I woke up and realized that it was all lies and that they were truly the evil ones. Fortunately, I was born well after those horrible times but it does scare me how easy it would be for us to go back to those horrific times. |
SomeoneElsesDream chapter 1 . 7/17/2008 I have no words except to say, Beautiful. |
Hunt Seat Panhead chapter 1 . 1/13/2005 Wow. Once again, twice in a day I'm astounded. you really like contravoursy don't you? I don't remember exactly but was this before or after the Reformation? I think i missed it but did you mention Mt 6:12 in the writng? when i went to go look it up I understood. This is really really good. I'm tempted to take this to schol tomorrow see what my fiends think also what my not friends think. My whole class was in an uproar when someone bought in a tame poem about the how pathetic society is. I wonder how much this would cause? Anyway I think the R rating is alittle strong I think a PG-13 would be appropriate. as i said before keep it up. H.S. Panhead |
Celtic Angel18 chapter 1 . 10/12/2004 I thought the story was very well written and a very good read. Keep up the good work |
Jade2099 chapter 1 . 6/23/2004 Wow...that was positively breathtaking. The Inquisition was a very difficult time in the church - the Church still has a difficult time. :) To broach such a horrific past with the Methos character really offers all an opportunity to reflect. Very, very well done. |
Wicked Lady chapter 1 . 3/10/2004 As a Catholic, I can say in all honesty that the church was very...stupid...for a very long time. The became money obsessed and all 'high and mighty' for many years and lots of innocents died as a result. If any one gives you heat for this, they don't know what they're talking about. As sad as it is, that's how things were. They have changed and are for the most part better for it. My only problem with this story is trying to picture Methos in the garb worn by the church in the 1400's. |
Kyra2 chapter 1 . 10/1/2003 Finding myself unable to find the words to properly praise this, I will merely say, "Well done. Controversial or not, it was amazing." |
Suzanne D chapter 1 . 11/30/2001 Well handled! Thank you for a very good read. ) |
Brennend chapter 1 . 9/26/2001 Sniffle... this was great... very touching... it might better better with more historical referencesand more detail though. I loved the contrasting passages. |
Tonia Barone chapter 1 . 9/25/2001 My word...this truly brings to light the horrors of the Inqusition. It also reminded me strongly of Joan of Ark. I wonder what Methos thought of her, during her brief time amongst us? |
Amy Fortuna chapter 1 . 9/12/2001 Excellent story - just one thing, in the 1400s they had not yet divided the Bible up into chapter and verse - that threw me off for a bit, but otherwise very well-written. |
Danvers1 chapter 1 . 7/11/2001 There is nothing wrong with writing controversy when you write it in the way you wrote this fic. I found it to be very sensitively written and very involving. One of the best Highlaner fics I've read definitely. Keep writing, you're a very talented writer. |
Xris Robbins chapter 1 . 6/14/2001 This was really powerful, well-written and moving. Please keep writing, we need more authors like you in the world. |
Angel's Mask chapter 1 . 4/25/2001 Wow. Amazing. This is one of the best damn fan fics I've ever read. Hell, one of the better stories I've read. I love it. I love the message behind it... In fact, I'd like your permission to print it out and bring it to my (Catholic) school. I think it could stir up a decent discussion in religion class. Please, e-mail me about it. And pleeeeease keep writing! I'd love to see more of this kind of thing! |
