So I've just discovered this fic. I have no knowledge of One Tree Hill, aside from the fact that it's the show CMM left Gilmore Girls to join, breaking my Trory heart in the process lol! So it's interesting to see the spin you've put on these characters in this shared universe. To the chapter at hand, I'm in the minority, but I actually don't think Dean entirely deserved his "floppy haired jerk" moniker in this. He's by no means blameless, but Rory isn't innocent either. She shares the blame for why things have been unravelling between them. Dean is reacting the way he is because Rory isn't treating him or their relationship as a priority. Case in point, she forgets to call and tell him she can't make it to hang out. That was a crappy thing to do, on her part. And why not just ask Dean to join her, Lucas and co for the tour around town? Dean could be a sweet, amiable guy. He just wasn't the guy meant for Rory. He clung so tightly to her, because he was always more invested in their relationship than she was. Which meant he always felt insecure about their relationship and overreacted. Although, majority of the time, his suspicions were warranted. Rory and Dean should never have gotten back together after their first break-up. But he was hung up on her, and she was comfortable in their relationship although she knew she wasn't going to feel as strongly about him as he did about her. So they are both equally responsible for what's happening in their relationship. Dean isn't a villain, he's just a guy in love with a girl who doesn't love him back, and it's made him desperate and frustrated. Ironically, that's actually pushing Rory away from him faster. Looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for sharing this fic with us!

Okay so I totally know that you finished this story two years ago but always like to give credit where credit is do. This story was terrific. I'm a huge OTH fan and GG fan and I thought it was a wonderful crossover. Great writing. Love the ending with everyone being happy. Simply wonderful.
