Reviews for Hands Off
sara.koch90 chapter 1 . 6/30/2018
This is incredible. I am lucky to have discovered you as a fanfiction author. It is so difficult to find great fanfictions let alone find any for a niche fandom. I have read your stories 10 years ago when my english wasn't the best (am german) but I couldn't restrain myself because I knew that they are something special. Now I find myself always returning to all of them and still loving them all if not even more because I can see how amazing, rare and incredible you are Scarlet and I I really hope this review reaches you even though it's long overdue. All the best and hoping that you still are or will be writing fanfictions.

Wai-Jing Waraugh chapter 1 . 3/26/2018
Every time I read this story, I desperately crave yum cha dumplings - which is partly my heritage at work, partly the power of suggestion. I think you might be projecting :P

Actually I think *this* one might be my favourite of the series thus far. The fact that The Shadow's agent and friend is a victim makes it personal. The fact Margo's father ends up in danger makes it even more so - I'm annoyed at myself for letting the palmistry clue go completely over my head at the first reading. Adding Uncle Wainwright into the mix adds to the family affair, his encounter with the Shadow was hysterical, us was Lamont stealing a police officer's coffee - talk about misusing his powers! It was sweet how both sides of the couple were advised that their chosen partner might lead them into trouble - Wainwright and Reinhardt have no idea!
The scene where Lamont starts training Margo is beautiful. Is the projector-receptor definition of different types of psychics your own invention, or part of the fiction mythos? Either way I loved that detail, it was a lovely moment of calm amidst a high-stakes murder mystery!

Another brilliant Shadow adventure, Scarlet!
Are you sure you're not related to Walter Gibson?

Seiberwing chapter 1 . 9/17/2008
I knew the palmistry was going be a key plot point as soon as Lamont mentioned it, but you still brought off the intrigue and action very well. I like the idea of Lamont trying to broaden Margo's telepathic abilities, it did seem like she had a lot more potential than she got to show in the movie itself.
Les chapter 1 . 5/20/2008
Fabulous as always. The interactions between Lamont, Margo, and Moe with their respective palmists was wonderful, as was Margo's training session. You have a true gift for taking these characters and bringing them to life; the twists and turns your stories take would be completely at ease on any of the CSI: programs. Brava!
sayrae3times chapter 1 . 3/2/2008
Wow! Yet another truly fantastic story! The entire plot really reminded me of the old radio shows and I loved how Margo, Moe and the big guy worked together, too. You have such an awesome writing style. I've been contemplating trying my hand at a Shadow story but I've definately got a lot to live up to to be as good as yours!
