Lycanthropic Nerev chapter 6 . 3/13/2006 This is exelent so far, BUT there may be one problem: That poem you wrote, "Poison." If you plan to do Morrowind and the expansions I suggest either changing the ending of Poison in this story or doing Bloodmoon before Tribunal. Exellent story. In my favorites! |
Shadow Moonseye chapter 1 . 1/25/2006 This story rocks! I have never read a Morrowind fanfic that follows the game so closly and is still so goog. I liked your refresing descriptive words and all that good stuff. not many people write about Argonians because of their inhumaness. You've really embraced this with Serpent. Please continue! I find this to be a very enjoyable read. PS(I'm using my dad's email) |
ICRepresentative chapter 1 . 7/29/2005 Hey, I like this. Not often you find a Morrowind writer willing to put a creative spin on the events in the game. Nice balance of in-game stuff and your own ideas. Morrowind writers, unite! Keep up the good work! |
Howel de Wolfe chapter 5 . 6/20/2005 Its pretty good up until hear. The story realy follows the game. YOu give alot of detail in emotions and the area, and you really put alot of work into the character. Keep it up |
Howel de Wolfe chapter 1 . 6/20/2005 I like this story, it has length and follows the beginning of the game quite accurately. |
snackfiend101 chapter 6 . 4/22/2005 What I know about the Morrowind/Elder Scrolls setting could be written on the inside of a very short pamphlet. Are we talking Dwemer, here? And I applaud your rewriting-the-plot-ness. Should be rather interesting... |
Andy W chapter 5 . 4/16/2005 Wow. Quite an ending there! I dunno. Having the character remembering who he/she is would certainly be different. But wouldn't it be rather hard not to completely rewrite the plot? Well, perhaps this is a passing flashback. Some really nice descriptive writing here. It's nice to see a leisurely painting of the scene, and evokation of mood, rather than a headlong rush to get through the story. Looking forward to more! |
snackfiend101 chapter 5 . 4/14/2005 O...fascinating. Odd. I never even thought that the Nerevarine would have flashbacks. Clever me. But now you've given me all sorts of interesting ideas and plot bunnies...they're eating my brain! And who's Alma? Do we get to hear more about this mysterious Altmer? |
Brand New Browncoat chapter 5 . 4/11/2005 wow that was deep, post the next chapter ASAP |
Andy W chapter 4 . 3/25/2005 I like it! I'm starting to get a better grasp of Serpent's (warped) personality and (fractured) motivation. I can't help thinking she'd be much happier as a werewolf or vampire. Happier, and perhaps far more dangerous and far less likeable. Likeable! Well... yes. You've managed to create a monster who has my sympathy and pity. And in a very strange way, she is likeable. I think this is a real achievement. And I can't help wondering which way she'll go. Will she keep trying to break free of her compulsions and past? Or will she give in and embrace her violent and destructive nature? I wait with bated breath. |
hyperion flare chapter 4 . 3/17/2005 I love this! *points* I reviewed. Happy? |
Brand New Browncoat chapter 4 . 3/9/2005 ah such a good story:D hard to find one so bloody :D |
snackfiend101 chapter 4 . 3/8/2005 Ah...this *will* be interesting! Thanks for the update. You seem to have a penchant for lizard-esque characters... |
Maggoctopus chapter 3 . 2/22/2005 you deserve to be published. very good exposition, beautiful use of adjectives, excellent usage of words! "fetid," "aver," "reminisce" ... truly beautiful stuff. |
Andy W chapter 3 . 2/18/2005 This is going to be very interesting. Split peronality, a murderer, tortured as a child, self-harming... why do I get the impression she's not going to have a jolly time of it in Vvardenfell? This fits the mood of Morrowind well. I would have liked to see perhaps a little more reason for her meek decision to follow Caius's orders, apart from her need to be told what to do. And her relief that she won't be killing seems a bit to quick and easy. Even if she hates it, it's all she's ever known. Apart from those trivial little niggles (and it's mostly just me being picky), I really like this fiction. Very different and original. |
