I don't think that there are enough showers or soap to make me feel clean enough just thinking about what has to be in that dump, and more importantly, getting inside of Ryan while he bleeds inside and out. Dr. Anne has to know that her very best efforts are an exercise in futility. Her connection with Ryan is so poignant though. I could almost forget the creepy intrusion of A.J. and Ramon poisoning it all. The basement? Both a reprieve from whatever fresh hell A.J. could have started and a whole new kind wrapped up into one.

I sure hope that Sandy and Jack get some answers or a clue about where Dr. Anne is, or was kidnapped, either from the police when they're done with Trey before he's carted off to a black hole or Trey starts singing. Problem is, where Ryan puts others first, Trey saves his own skin. If he's not able to talk, things get much more tense and trying for Sandy, who has to be in a worse place emotionally after seeing the hospitals and getting those flashbacks. He also has to be thinking that the wrong brother is getting the best of care after putting himself and Ryan in jeopardy and that might mean that Ryan's not getting any kind of care at all.

okay, i've only read the first two chapters of this but i am loving where it is going - so I had to review :) first of all - LOVE the cryptic trey talk at the end of chapter two. it had me going..."wtf is going on?" and i love being confused in a story. it opens up more possibilities for twists. and i love plot twists :)

cant wait to read more of this. the story may not be completed (at least i think its not) but i still have tones to read, and i'm looking forward to it. you might see a review from me again...reviewing is usually my method of suppressing my excitement when reading a particularly good scene/chapter. so don't get annoyed if I review...ALOT xD

I haven't read this story in a while, so I just caught up on a whole bunch of chapters. It's like it's turned in a completely different direction since you "restarted" (or maybe I should just reread the first chapters, hm). Anyway, I like it. Really enjoyed the Angst free Ryan day and how they all played golf. Interesting choice of activity. Hee. How they all tried to make sure it was a good day for Ryan. The banter - gotta love the Cohens for that. Kirsten in mothering mode is fabulous and Seth following up with with his own little ordering a cheeseburger snark was just great. And Blushing Ryan, how adorable is that. Aw. Can't wait to see what happens with Caleb. The old bastard - I kind of miss him. Somehow Sandy Cohen, lawyer extraordinaire, is throwing his game without even trying. I'm not exactly sure how, but I guess I'll find out soon enough, especially if you keep up this lovely pace of updating. Very much enjoying this.
