Traumastrike chapter 1 . 8/5/2019 I really enjoyed reading this. I like this pairing as well. Thank you for sharing this. |
Jonouchi Katsuya chapter 1 . 7/31/2012 :) I liked this. Good job. |
browneyes730 chapter 1 . 8/22/2010 Wow, this was great! Even if I am a complete Azureshipping lover, I really liked this. You should write more about them. Good job on this. :D |
Pfefferminztea chapter 1 . 5/17/2008 Wow. This is... Great. I never figured the two of them might match, being a notorious azureshipper/devotionshipper. But I loved this. Especially the part about the gangs reactions. :D |
Dustbunny3 chapter 1 . 6/15/2007 Stark and chilling and unbelievably well-written- I approve! The segmented format is interesting, and I love the underlying emotions and the bits of not-quite-there-ness on Anzu's part. There really aren't enough well-written stories about this couple (on the bright side, most Yami no Malik/Anzu fics are worse) and this fic helps to even it out just a little. Almost makes me want to write some myself. I wasn't sure at first about the Anzu characterization, but reading closely it really is done well. Your Otogi is interesting as well, and I love how he's there when he's there, but not quite so much as Anzu is there. If that even makes sense... Anyway, lovely work. Thank you for sharing |
Maat's Feather chapter 1 . 5/8/2007 "There really should be more stories about this pairing." I heartily agree! What an interesting pairing... Nicely done. They way you laid the story out in different segments was a great idea and worked very well. Loved the 'something is better than nothing at all' line. It really ties the whole thing together. |
Anon chapter 1 . 3/3/2007 "Even Yami Malik/Anzu is more popular (seriously, wtf?)" Hahahahahaha. Too funny (and sadly, too true). This was amazingly written, and I adore you. I also agree thoroughly with this pairing. Huzzah! |
Secretly Sparkling chapter 1 . 2/21/2007 This story just about killed me. I went through a sitaution almost exactly like this, and this was written so perfectly that it was erie. I love the style of your stories... they often have that almost-but-not-quite run on quality in them that really makes the emotions stand out and makes it seem like someone really *could* be thinking this. The way you transitioned from "Yuugi says nothing at all and it hurts more than it should." to "And Anzu is glad because something was better than nothing at all." was just brilliant, just more perfect than I could ever describe. This was gorgeous, simply gorgeous. You're amazing. |
Sunflower-chan chapter 1 . 2/6/2007 Yami Malik/Anzu? Ew. You did such a good job on this story! I loved how you tied in that line where Yami Yugi "left with nothing for Anzu" and in the end she is feeling glad about her brief reltionship with Otogi because it had been something and "something was better than nothing at all." Pure genius I tell you! Please spread more of the Otogi/Anzu love, Lily! :D |
5animefan chapter 1 . 2/6/2007 Very Very Sad. Well written. You could really feel the emotion. You wonder then what will become of Anzu. |
xke chapter 1 . 2/5/2007 For some reason, I was drawn to this fanfiction from the countless others it was listed among. From reading the description, I had a feeling I wouldn't enjoy it, but I actually did. Even though I'm not a fan of this pairing, it's always refreshing to read something new and reading a one-shot like this((that's written so well)) is always a treat. |
Hip Hop Hippo chapter 1 . 8/1/2006 I'm so glad you updated! Update more please! |
Denebola chapter 2 . 7/7/2006 Oh. My gosh. I love this. Otogi knows Anzu so well. I love both of the characters in this, and my stomach is all squirmy now because I feel sad for them. Great melancholy little piece. |
TaShYrEi chapter 2 . 7/3/2006 Oh. Goodness. Otogi and Anzu were in perfect character. Otogi seems to be horny-ish (or is it just me?) Anyway, great fic! Please continue! |
illuminated bestiary chapter 1 . 5/17/2005 it's beautiful, sad, and though short, drags you into her mourning. |
