Oh my goodness. This was an intense story! But it was so beautifully written. At least in this one Frodo got a happy ending! Thank you for writing this.

No, Aragorn. None of you will ever see the old Frodo again. He's scarred for life, and he'll never recover from it. This broke my heart in the movies. The way I see it, Frodo's life ended the moment he took that ring...and not of his own choice! It wasn't fair!

Poor Sam and Frodo. They've suffered enough. And both of them heaping blame on themselves is so hard to watch. Frodo gave Gollum a chance which he accepted for a while, then tossed out the window. That ring was the death of him, literally! Good riddance.

So good to have him back, and not deathly sick! Legolas, Gimli, and Eomer have done a great job tending them.

He's alive, he's not dead! Great idea, Sam. There was a reason this group was thrown together.

Aragorn's dream reminded me so much of when Jesus was mocked, beaten, humiliated, and tortured for us!

I was like, "Will someone please shoot those ravens?" I would've!

No, no, no, no! He can't be dead! NO! Come on, Aragorn! Don't die! You've fought too long, too hard, and too gallantly to just die now. Don't you dare leave your friends! They need you! Middle Earth needs you!

Arwen, where is she? He needs Arwen!

You're torturing me! This story is as heavy and dramatic as the movies! That means you're doing a superb job by the way! But I am honestly almost in tears. Haven't all of these heroes suffered enough? It's not fair! IT'S NOT FAIR! All of this suffering, all of this pain, and heartbreak...all of this, all because of that STUPID ring!

Frodo, maybe it will be better if he dies. After all he's been put through, death would be a mercy.

Oh my gosh, you. scared me! Bearing from the title, for a minute I was afraid to keep reading, afraid that Aragorn was going to die!

Aww, Sam. He needs a good hug. Frodo...can he even survive this anymore?

Aragorn, what did you do?! What happened to him? And...how?

First of all, this is a dramatically beautiful story! I really like it. And Aragorn is great! His depth of love and concern for the little guys is beautiful. And the honor he freely, lovingly bestowed on them for their courage was mind blowing. Such a humble, and personable king, like Jesus.

Frodo has suffered horrifically! It's no wonder that he could never fully recover from all that he went through.

And Sam? Sam is a gem! Frodo NEVER would've made it without him! He is one of the most faithful friends I have ever seen.

Poor Pippin, being crushed by a troll! No wonder all his ribs were broken!

I love how Gandalf told Aragorn to see to Shadowfax. The love between the wizard and his horse is always wonderful. And Frodo: "Leave me, save Sam!" I could just hear the pleading here; Frodo not caring if he dies as long as Sam is all right.

Everything else is amazing, too. This is an excellent take on the battle's aftermath- great work!
