SpiritualEnergy chapter 1 . 5/28/2006 So sad. But so good. I haven't read anything like this before, but I really enjoyed it. :) great job. |
Winter Ashby chapter 1 . 5/28/2006 This was simply wonderful. I really enjoyed all the angst that ripped away at my heart. It was perfectly painful - I couldn't have wished for a better fic to read today. Bravo... I severly enjoyed every moment of this. |
Shoomy2003 chapter 1 . 2/6/2006 Powerful stuff my dear. When I watched the show, I wanted to see Sui and Kikyo to get together. They just seemed so... right? Does that makes sense? It was as if two spoons were laid side to side and fit against one another. They just fit. "She wonders, while watching them at play, if the children realize that they are still orphans, since their new caretakers are just as dead as their parents." POWERFUL line. It took me aback because I had honestly never thought of it like that! Great work. |
The Bog Witch chapter 1 . 12/28/2005 Oh wow! This is great. I love your portrayal of Kikyou. The ending was so sad. Nice. |
AshCarroll aka ShadowDiva chapter 1 . 2/9/2005 Just stumbled on this, and I must say, I really like it. I think you captured Kikyou's thoughts perfectly. Great work. The fandom needs more writers like you. Please write more stories soon. |
Leni chapter 1 . 2/3/2005 Something like this is what I was talking about. Dark, raw and still in character. *bows* One of my favourite Kikyou pieces. /if the children realize that they are still orphans, since their new caretakers are just as dead as their parents./ - a strong line. Followed by her partial contentment, interesting mix of opposite feelings in a single paragraph. Of course, the play of words in the second to last sentence is a good final touch, and the last line. *chuckles* Funny. I'd been planning to write a Kagome pov while she's surrounded by fire and IY calls for Kikyou. *G* |
Lover not a fighter chapter 1 . 2/2/2005 I am NOT a fan of Kikyou...but this...I like... |

teejplease chapter 1 . 12/16/2004 usually i hate kikyo... but i like how it echoes on the fact that she once was very human. and, i'll admit, i did cry. |
Resmiranda chapter 1 . 12/16/2004 First, I'm sorry I didn't see your email in time to beta (wah), but second, love! I'm not big on this pairing for various reasons, but it's so freaking OBVIOUS that yeah, it tickles me sometimes. Like, now. Especially this bit: 'She wonders, while watching them at play, if the children realize that they are still orphans, since their new caretakers are just as dead as their parents.' ...and this: 'She waves back, and thinks that she might have been a good mother, once upon a time.' Sigh! Sweet and sad and doomed. Love it. |
