4. There should totally be a sequel to this, Daniel running into Maggie at the grocery store or something season 7ish, complete with the amnesiac "who are you again?", really awkward explanations, lame cover-up attempts, and remonstrations for letting everyone think you were dead and/or lying!

I just love this fic. I've read it a couple times and then couldn't remember how to find it again. I'm glad I remembered the title after watching 'The Light' and seeing 8-3 on the door. "Aha!" I said, and immediately searched for this fic.

Very very very well done. So sad but at least we know the true happy ending poor Maggie will never know.
