mochi1412 chapter 1 . 8/16/2011 *Jaw drops* Ok..I was definitely NOT expecting that..woah..now that is one damn SCARY teacher! XD Oh wow..I must favourite this..*grins* Oh my god..i wonder how Kudo's dealing with this..*Dies of laughter* Great fanfic! I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future ;) |
butterflieo chapter 1 . 1/2/2011 Oh, Haibara, Haibara~! The concept sounds a bit like one explored by a DCMK oneshot I read, where Kaitou KID is kept immortal because of exposure to a magic stone, and Conan is unable to grow up (and is therefore immortal) because of APTX. It was very angsty, but awesome-and I never thought I'd run into another fic with that view towards the ending again! Even better- this was well written, with a good mood and in-character dialogue (the bit at the end, without the OC who was, by the way, not a Mary Sue and has earned the love of a reviewer *heart*)! So, all in all, a very good fic. It should really be more popular. *favorited* |
Hikari Urania chapter 1 . 3/6/2010 Who cares if you're a geek...geeks rule the world i mean look at Bill Gates and all those smart people who develope all the technology we use everyday. One little instruction sent from their personal computers and we would all be sent back into the dinosaur era... Anyways i loved the story and i thought that it was endearing how Ai Haibara introduced herself... |
For Spite chapter 1 . 7/20/2009 Well, this was pretty funny, though Ai living three hundred years and not having to worry about people attempting to forcibly extract the secrets of immortality from her seems a bit odd. You do a good job portraying your original character as interesting and sympathetic and even though the audience knows where this is going the conclusion is still enjoyable. Your theory on the workings of APTX makes a great deal of sense... right up to the point where some of the failed cures caused instant reversion to normal temporarily. But frankly, that bit never made scientific sense, since it's a lot easier to rapidly shed mass than rapidly gain it. |
ThunderRiver411 chapter 1 . 6/22/2008 Nice story. I'm working on one too. Check it out when you get the time to. |
Wassermagierin chapter 1 . 12/17/2007 Ha, so funny! I was actually looking at your profile because of your Harry Potter stories, but then I saw this and thought 'Might as well look' (I watched Detective Conan once). As soon as I read the passage where the 'little girl' was described, I knew it had to be Ai. Great job, I love it! |
katiesparks chapter 1 . 7/5/2007 Dude! I'm with Haibara on this one, I bet their faces when they saw her were priceless! Go Haibara! Pullin' mean jokes on Freshmen! You rock girl! |
anonymous chapter 1 . 12/13/2005 Why don't you make a story out of this one, the same way Ms. Ysabet says she did with 'Windfall'. I swear that you could make one very good story out of this one. |
anonymous chapter 1 . 7/6/2005 hey why don't you make a sequel to this story which details what happened to the others huh? that would be great! |
auxiliary chapter 1 . 12/22/2004 Very interesting. I have been anticipating something like this for a long time. Written very well! But the fact that APTX stands for apotoxin could be found on many websites I visited. |
PRIVATE chapter 1 . 9/25/2004 Okay, now I'm the apotoxin.I was thinking that apotoxin just turns people into mush(EW!MUSHIE PEOPLE!)but then again, your right, and I'm something gives me hope... ...I didn't do research! At this point of life I'll do anything to get a laugh. WAIT!I FORGOT ABOUT THE REOSON I'M REVEIWING! At first,I wanted to tell that it's called apotoxin in the 't need to be a detective to figure out that I'm a nerd. |
AinoMinako chapter 1 . 9/23/2004 Well... You did do your research, that's for sure. And I wondered about that before I read this... Excellent research. I think you have cracked the code! |
KalinaRaama chapter 1 . 9/22/2004 Simply fantastic! Not only do you write fabulous fiction, but you're a wonderful researcher as well! This explanation of the Apotoxin certainly would explain why Haibara is having such trouble coming up with a cure; it would be near impossible to eliminate such a poison, particularly at the rate at which cells grow, divide, and die! Anyway, wonderful piece. I can absolutely picture Ai smiling at her class like that. Great job! |
ada chapter 1 . 9/19/2004 this was great. I love that you did research. Ai was perfect in this story. |
Elanor chapter 1 . 9/19/2004 Astounding. You're a science nerd AND a talented fiction writer. Lucky you. :D I am really intrigued by this concept you've come up with since I too have been caught up in the apparent misconception that Conan and Ai will grow up again. Interesting... very interesting... Thank you for so graciously leaving it up for grabs. And great fic! Completely original and well-written. I suppose I'll have to go check out your thirty-chapter stories now... oh dear... |
