I'm a little lost why if jack was around would Harry still go through all his craptastic child hood. I am also assuming that Sirius is in prison or harry would have been with him.

Why has nothing ever changed to better even as painful truth was seen and heard?

I couldn't finish the story. I got to chapter 13 before I gave up. Your writing is incredibly good, your characters act right, in character, and the only gripe I have in the lack of setting description.. But I simply could not adjust to Jack O'Neill as a seer wizard that served Lord Voldemort and worked both sides. I tried. I did. But the further I read the more my ability to adjust to this "different" background faded. And I find it positively baffling that in hiding or not, Jack didn't do anything to help Sirius when arrested or check up on Harry. I don't know how you are trying to stay canon Harry Potter when throwing such a different twist in. But like I said, your writing is good. Its just that I couldn't adjust to the meld you tried to make. I'm going to look at your other stories, if you have any. Sorry if my review is a disappointment.

Uhm... thats quite impossible. Do you remember how long it took Harry to get his wand? To find a fitting wand takes time, attention and care. Perhaps you could have them buy wand polish or a decorative wand box or the like. That would be more logical :-)
