Poor Petunia. Before the 7th book, I really didn't like her, but when I read the bit where Harry was in Snape's memories, I understood her a bit. Sometimes I feel a bit like what was described in your story. Although I love my brothers and sisters, it's tough being the eldest.

An interesting fic. There are so few Petunia fics out there. I must admit I read it to see whether your view of their relationship accorded with mine and it is definitely similar - although your fic is very different from mine.

I notice you haven't written anything on since early 2005. I hope you haven't given up writing as you have definite talent - especially as this is not your native language (a fact I hadn't realised until I saw your profile).

Nice job! I like how you accentuated the fact that Lily might not have been the object of jealousy of Petnia because of her being magical. It made more SENSE now. However, i found it sad that she did not love her husband and her son. Her son comes from her! how can she not love him? Very good fanfic, yet slightly sadistic. However, since when is being a sadist a bad thing? :)
