The excruciating detail of Ryan's last Christmas, from the departure of the decent guy to the arrival of AJ, the way it spiral into violence and abuse, Dawn's total inadequacy, was heart-wrenching. Including Dawn's brief moment of tenderness with Ryan. And the warm fuzziness of the Cohen Christamas, with Ryan relaxing into it, until he's happily hugging Kirsten adn Sandy - fab. Tears at both ends of the spectrum. Lovely, lovely stuff... |
