LOL! Miroku disapproved of her "scandalous attire." Too funny! Kagome shocked some people by paying just a tiny bit of attention to Kouga. Then he and Inuyasha both showed their immaturity by charging into the fight with the snake without paying attention to where Kagome was. Miroku really told them off. I was a little disappointed she didn't wipe it out without their help. I forgot to mention the fact that you revealed Miroku and Sango's relationship had dissolved, but they hadn't talked. I hope there will be SOMETHING said so it's clear Miroku is a free man.

It's very entertaining to see Miroku become serious and detached from the sensual delights he usually indulges in while Kagome is starting to long for them instead of merely the chaste, romanticism she has always dreamed of.

Inuyasha's reaction was very interesting. I was surprised Sango was hurt when he took Kagome back to camp. Kikyou hasn't been gone that long, so just how long has Sango been harboring feelings for him? I was so intrigued by Kagome's thoughts about how her role in the group would change now that she's so much more powerful. What a great point! It makes perfect sense for Miroku to offer to help her train her powers. It seems like none of them knew how powerful she was even before Kikyou died, since he was surprised to discover she had surpassed Kaede's abilities already.

I was surprised that Miroku and Sango are pretty much engaged in this. That's going to have be dealt with, especially since both of them seem to be straying in their affections. I liked the idea of them participating in a fishing contest, and I really loved Kagome using some of those latent powers to save Miroku from the creature. His claiming to have won was perfect. Of course he would choose a kiss!

Poor Kagome. She will forever feel like she's in Kikyou's shadow with Inuyasha. I loved Miroku's clever way of sending the others on so he could talk to her in private. I was a little confused when Kagome didn't know that Miroku knew Kikyou was dead since just a little before that she talked about how Inuyasha was mourning and yet she was the one crying. I love the idea that she is more connected to nature and the world all around her now that her soul is complete. It also just makes sense that she will be quite a bit more powerful. Interesting that Miroku notices that she seems more mature now with her full soul. Looking forward to more!

I have to wonder about this, how can she stay with Miroku? The only 2 ways are if he can somehow travel through the well, or she stays. I always love seeing how an author gets to either of those conclusions. Looking forward to the next chapter!

I must admit, I too am a Miroku and Kagome fan, but there are very, very few on I also adore Sesshy and Kagome stories, so I think you would enjoy them too. Your story is really good! I'm impressed! But you keep misspelling Japanese words like Hiraikotsu and osuwari. You spelled them as hiraikutsu and owsari. As a future editor, I, and many others, I am sure, am a stickler for good grammar and spelling, so please get a beta reader! Regardless, you've done an awesome job, so keep up the good work and update soon!
