This was well written and interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about the pairing, but as Sirius himself pointed out, it wasn't really anything. I adore Ginny. She is my favorite character in the series. Great job here.

I am sure that this story made sense to you when you wrote it way back when. I wonder if you now have any second thoughts about it? It is never okay for a 36 year old man to share an intimate kiss with a 14 year old child. Never. Ever. Sirius rhapsodizing about Ginny’s grace and beauty and the perfection of her kissing technique is not cute or sweet or funny or touching. It’s wrong. On so many levels. His deluding himself that they will have nothing to be ashamed about is classic behavior. Sorry. This was an otherwise interesting character study.

So. Cute. I have a weakness for little could-be-canon oneshots, and this one is especially good!

Strangly, or not, enough, I have never seriously (puns aside) thought about this ship (perhaps 'pairing' would be a better term, for it is not truly a 'ship', just a silly midnight kiss for a tired old dog. Thank you, Laura, for making me think. I need it, so I don't turn out like Paris Hilton or them.
