   rebecca-in-blue chapter 1 . 11/17/2017 Wow, this is such a well-done portrait of Harry post-movie. I love how there is such an atmosphere of loneliness and regret -lingering outside on the cold front step, sitting in the quiet kitchen watching the clock tick - but you capture it in a way that feels realistic, not angsty. You create sympathy for Karen but for Harry as well, especially in the little mentions of "memorizing them, just in case" and "How many times had she greeted him in this very spot." Taking our loved ones for granted is something we all do, and so in that sense, Harry is as human as anyone. Really wonderful work. |

| Kayryn chapter 1 . 3/16/2006 First of all, yes! I was very unhappy about the way they left things with Karen and Harry in the movie. Especially considering that I watched the movie for those two (Emma and Alan) to begin with. I felt it wasn't wrapped up at all and the writers just left the couple hanging... That said, I did enjoy your story. I like the way you didn't just make them all happy again, but rather continued from the movie. Very well done, I think. |
