| Miss Aranel chapter 2 . 8/9/2004 I thought that the chapter was amusing enough - if you throw in too much, it tends to be more of a slapstick than something that could possibly happen to a poor dad like Elrond. I found it amusing that Erestor owns that fiery horse (I'm guessing that you've got a quiet, studious Erestor?) - perhaps he was one of the few people patient enough to handle her? Or maybe he bribes her! Ack - poor Elrond is all stuck with rose thorns! I can just see Celebrian gently asking her son why he didn't worry that his father was okay after an attack like that! *smirk* And now we've got mud-caked, naked elflings running around Elrond's place...goodness, but he's going to be mortified...(but imagine the story-telling payback when the boys are older!). |
| Miss Aranel chapter 1 . 8/9/2004 Oh dear! Poor Elrond and Glorfindal! I liked baths when I was little, except for the getting out part - it was always so COLD! Much easier to just avoid the bath altogether! The idea of the twins wandering about the house covered in muck makes me grin, and the idea of grumpy inlaws for Elrond is something in stories that never fails to make me smile - esp. resentful Celeborn. |
